Discussion time. Since the same faggot keeps shitting up every thread having to do with it, just don't reply to him at all this time when he starts bitching about anyone saying it's OMD related. He'll bait you by complaining about the pacing as well. Just ignore him.
Obviously we have no official reveal of the nature of Kindreds mission, and Norman still claims he's Harry but he has also stated he has no proof, so that ball is still up in the air. But we got some pretty damn strong evidence of the Mephisto deal today with the appearance of OMD MJ, and in issues past of Strange asking Peter if he's ever made a deal.
Do you guys think Norman is taking being "cleansed" ?
Here's something that's been bothering me; where is Otto Octavius? Spencer has been referencing practically everything this run, save Otto. Doc, if you recall, made a Mephisto deal of his own at the end of Chris Gage's Superior Spider-Man where he bartered to return to his old fatass self.
Slott and co kinda overused him, he gonna spent some time on the shelf, most likely
Julian Morgan
To my knowledge he was Superior Spider-Man, running around in a hybrid clone body, made the Mephisto deal to get his old body back, defeated alt-universe Norman Osborn, then left San Francisco never to be seen since.
Jackson Myers
I must be remembering him leaving Frisco then
Camden Russell
But it doesn't really add up. The ending to Superior was so abrupt and status quo reverting that it begs the question if it was solely done to tie into whatever Spencer was doing.
If there's anything to the split soul theory, then maybe Otto is connected. He and Peter shared a body before both stories too in Slott's Superior. Plus I got to say, the centipedes to invoke the imagery of Otto's arms.
Nolan Green
Maybe Mephisto didn't want Ocks soul in a part Peter body cause it was fucking with his deal is some shit?
Also I was speculating about the arms last thread. If it's Split Soul Peter, then it seems like he's pooling together things from a bunch of his villains.
>Styled after Goblin and switches between a red/blue and green/purple color pallette
>Still has a bug motif but uses the centipedes like Doc Ock
>Refers to themselves as a collective or as a we, and appears to be in a symbiotic relationship with his powers like Venom
>Playing up the mystery like the Hobgoblin days
>The play on Harry's dinner but without any of Harry's typical behavior
The last two are stretches I know
Jeremiah Cooper
I can't wait for two weeks when you omd fags are btfo and its revealed this has nothing to do with it
Superior shit is probably too unclear to account when it comes to souls.
Samuel Mitchell
>NOOO YOU CAN'T JUST CRITIC A BAD STORY pathetic.
Nathan Anderson
All of the cloning shit is confusing regarding souls
Charles Nelson
Yeah, so Spencer likely won’t touch anything from recent or well established stuff Point is even if he’ll undo OMD, Peter still likely will forever stay a manchild with a guilt problems.
Ryan Foster
It's not Pete's soul. It's Harry through and through. There's even an issue coming out in January that involves Harry.
Jaxson Anderson
We have no actual proof it's Harry. Just because he appears in a later issue means nothing
David Cooper
>Yeah, so Spencer likely won’t touch anything from recent or well established stuff he just referenced morluns family being babies, and spider island
Asher Scott
>Yeah, so Spencer likely won’t touch anything from recent or well established stuff He's acknowledged shit from Slott, Zdarsky and Gage
Noah Roberts
Did Kindred kill Peter/Spider-Man at the end of the last issue? Is Miles Morales taking over as the main Spider-Man from now on?
John Miller
Are you retarded?
Brody Lopez
That's like saying we have no actual proof the Norman's soul is cleansed for the time being. The story dictated it and it has dictated that Kindred is Harry. Spencer already talked about it. It's a done deal. This isn't some kind of swirl job by Spencer. The only mystery left is how Harry ended up like this.
Blake Miller
We don't have any proof that he isn't lying about either of those things. Or in Harry's case he can be mistaken.
Writers also can say whatever they want to confuse the fans. Theres a ready we still haven't had Kindred himself confirm who he is because Harry is a misdirect. The story can say anything it wants and then show that it was bullshit, it actually happened this way or that way. You act like this is your first mystery story.
Also Kindred acts nothing like Harry.
Leo Mitchell
He just wants to stealthily turn the discussion to Miles hating. There's one every Spider-man thread
Connor Rivera
of course because you cant have a straight white male as a hero without him getting shown up by females or minorities
Elijah Ward
That's fair
Henry Morgan
Every other big Spidey villain has made an appearance in other media.
But, what does Kindered sound like?
And damn, never thought we’d see Spidey get BTFO like that in his main book. Even in Dying Wish he wasn’t even in his own body.
Jayden Powell
Sorry, mate, but you're flat out wrong. Kindred being Harry is Spencer's hook. It's even similar to his past reveals where he drops the bombshell, then goes into detail thereafter on how that character got to where he is now. No reason to reuse Norman again. No reason to kill Mendel if not for the Osborn connection. No reason to include Mysterio if not for the Osborn connection.
Xavier Lopez
There where a couple of early issues with Kindred where I thought he did sound a little like Goblin!Harry. Then he started killing and endangering left and right whilst pulling out grand speeches and masterplans.
