I really enjoyed all the dumb 'fights' in today's issues user. Claremont level coom right there.

You're a lair and possibly a hideout.

Who's getting married ?

Doug and Bei

Who's is Doug and Bei?

Also Bei is a snack, Doug finally winning.

Who the hell are the clown show motherfuckers on the left?

Actually these issues were pretty good, don’t know what you’re complaining about

Congratulations, it was far more enjoyable than you made it out to be. Sorry if you wanted Yu Yu Hakusho

not OP but legit curious what you liked about it... this issue was terrible with characters acting out of character personalites from last issue and the pacing was horrible. The Leader of the team JUST (as far as they are aware)died and minutes later were cracking jokes and smiling...WTF

say what you will, but the fact that you can just say "Yu Yu Hakusho" in reference to this and everyone knows what you're talking about should show you how memorable and well done that story was compared to this...

Not that user, but I don't even know what THIS, the X of Swords Storyline, actually is.

But whatever fuckign crazy Hickman planned out, I already know it's not better than anything in YuYuHakusho

... yes, even the stupid "Makai Tournament" arc near the end. At least THAT was comprehensible

God forbid someone want a flagship capeshit title to have action in it when it's mid-event in what is called X of SWORDS and the loser ass writer spent months setting it up.

In all honesty I've wanted to read x-men for a while and i never do cause it's not just the old TAS/90s yellow blue with none or little of the weird cosmic shit and just muties going on adventures.

This might have been more enjoyable if
>It wasn't part of a twenty-two issues long crossover event
>The tournament event didn't initially spend several issues simply collecting random swords and people talking to each other to do exposition to explain the backstory heavy plot
>There's no real tension built up to these fights so this kind of quirky twist doesn't make the story better
>ALL the "fights" so far have been shit
>The rules for these fights repeatedly seem to end with lol random comedic twist
>Getting married to a completely new character out of the blue doesn't really work because it comes out as both awkward and rushed, rather than subverting expectations in an amusing way

I was against this storyline since the day it was announced and somehow they've managed to make it even more annoying than if it had just been twenty issues of sword fighting. Also gotta love how all the emphasis on the swords seems to have been entirely arbitrary and pointless as we're already over halfway through the story and none of the swords have had any significance.

there was literally nothing wrong with any of it
it fit the tone of the original excailbur comic from which all otherworld characters were featured in.
you got filtered BIG TIME

>APOLOGIZE
For what?

Cute gatekeeping

not OP, but the thread he linked, many people said he was lying about the wedding and that fights ending randomly

>there was literally nothing wrong with any of it

literally the ABOVE FUCKING POST

That Cable kid looks gayer than ever

> thumbs up and smile
fucking Cable man.

He will soon enter a state of Super Gayness.

Hickman era is so terrible

It's not xmen. It's just a bunch of people in cosplay standing around in sun glares dying and fucking

Days of our mutie lives

It's not even soap opera though. It's like fanfiction written by someone who's been reading X-men via wikipedia articles

I can't believe they made this event so huge, over 20 chapters, half the story is just characters collecting swords for a tournament, then building up the OC villains, and the story then after so much time and effort spent hyping fans up for the tournament, they're not even treating it seriously.
This event deserves to crash sales on the X-books, but the fandom is so loyal it won't change anything.

Place your bets. Will Cable cuck Cypher or just kill Bei during their fight?

old man cable will return to kill kid cable & bei

Based Doug.
