When I was a kid I bought a kids magazine at the grocery store and it had a bit of a Justice League comic in it. They were fighting an evil chick that could read minds and make a person's biggest fear manifest and fight for her. Martian Manhunter was sitting in front of a river on a different planet complaining about some bullshit. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I can't find it. Am I on crack? It ended with Superman telling all the news cameras to point at him.

I'm really not in the mood for these stupid fucking games. How about someone just answer the question?

it wasn't official, it was probably a mexican copy and paste of the JL.

No it was official. I'm in Australia, not some third world slum.

She was using some kid that had watched a bunch of horror movies and a giant spider came out of his head. Flash or one of them made a joke about Stephen King's head exploding because scary shit was running all over the place. At the end Superman says to point the camera at him because he has something to say and that's the end. I never found out what happened next because I never got another issue of that magazine.

If this is you then I'm not helping you, sounds like you're throwing a tantrum and nobody else should help either. I deleted my comment that may of given some insight but forget it now.

Congrats mate.

It's one in those K-zone, Krash, Dmag or Mania comics since you live in Australia right? Then it would be impossible to find since those are just throwaway comics to add the value of those magazine. Meaning they don't get archived. At least tell us the year you bought it or what the cover of the magazine looks like to narrow it down. Maybe check your local library since mine had those magazine, but it was a long time ago so I'm not sure if they still put those up.

Early 2000s. Don't remember the cover. It had a quiz about what sort of Yugioh player you were.

It wasn't the usual popular magazine I got. It was some shittier one which is probably why I only ever got the one issue.

don't support bad habits that shits this board up more than it needs to.

I'm sorry to say but that would be impossible to track down, unless you didn't chucked it in the bin at some point in your life.

The "bad habit" in this case being trying to talk about comics? What do you think people on this board should be talking about?

Well if anyone gives a shit there's a lost Justice League storyline out there somewhere. I just wanted to know what happened next. Superman picks up a giant shark and does something with it, then says "tell the cameras to focus on me. I've got something to say" And I never fucking got to find out what it was.

Of course no one in ausfalia ever archived anything. Half of them are so fucked on meth they can't even remember their own names.

You are retard

and it haunts you?

It annoyed me when I had the magazine, then I forgot about it for like 15 years, now it's annoying me again.

No hablo español.

Bitch, several of the floppy DC published tie in comics to Justice League or JLU were unofficially canon just in the damn art style. So chill your kiwi ass down and drink a beer at maccas or someshit. Look. The best place to ask this is the watchtower database fuckers on Twitter & Youtube. If it was in a magazine It may have been something made before Justice League as a cartoon started, in the production cycle of Batman the Animated Series DC put out a short lived magazine in the show’s artstyle but featuring characters from DC’s library in a weird fusion state of plans to include those characters in a BTAS artstyle world but using their then mid nineties status quo from the comics. Give me a year you remember this to help us narrow this bullshit down, just do me the favor of not running over any Aboriginals in your caravan while you track that info down.

...also nothing against you personally but fuck your country for Pacific Heat. It was a bad attempt at an Archer ripoff and your entire damn continent should feel bad.

Let's say between 2000 and 2005. There were like 4 kids magazines with one issue a month each so that isn't many. I don't think it was K-Zone because that was the one I usually got.

Okay...so now we can assume some things. This might be a JL show tie in comic. The JL animation ran from 01-04, JLU from 04-06. This might be an attempted tie in frommthe show then if not a reprint of content from the DC Adventures Magazine.

So, google fu licensing between WB, DC, & Cartoon Network between those Magazines or look online for illegal pdfs of their print runs And check publisher credits or licensing rather than scouring each issue fully. Then we can fond out, buy din of artist and writer, where these stories originated.

Okay, K-Zone had some Yu-Gi-Oh! Pack in card promotion with a coupon for something called Twisties. The back up story may have been there as I can find no evidence with 2 min of search that 4kids had a magazine in australia. Also, 4kids unless they had a block of animation was focused on dubbing anime as 4kids entertainment and had pokemon and a few other shows; WB has a stronger presence in english speaking countries so it makes it less likely it would have been them. Could be wrong, but I strongly think K-Zone is our culprit here.

It wasn't K-Zone. I always got K-Zone. This was some other piece of shit that I only ever got one issue of.

Alright then, gonna spin back around and say the WTD guys are your best bet. They’ve done a lot of legwork tracking down those kind of small side stories and esoteric magazine back up pieces. I’m About to head in for work so I’ve no further time to research and speculate, though leaving this thread open if it lasts that long or you get your answers.

Godspeed you bastard, enjoy those new giant sugar gliders discovered in your country.

And remember, All we really do is shitpost and play games but that doesn’t mean we aren’t capable of being helpful while doing it. And demanding we not is a sure path that anons will, so check yourself both before you Wreck yourself and for dubs.

Up we go

What games? No one giving you sauce isn't a good reason to sperg out.

It is.

What is WTD?

Wtd are the fuckers mentioned watch tower database. Fan group that takes that special obsession with the DCAU. Trying to catalogue all the esoterica and figure out an accurate timeline and completionist view
