Is Garfield a good webcomic?
Is Garfield a good webcomic?
I like Garfield, but his strips are hit or miss. Sometimes they’re cute, other times they’re groan inducing.
Depends on the strip, but Heathcliff unironically has a better track record in my eyes
I like Garf, but the digital art used in the modern strips is rather soulless.
>wifi password
is that real? idk why it feels un-right, like i feel like garfield comics are all set in the 90s
nah, theyre a bit shit but they work as newspaper fodder. never shouldve come to the internet era tho
its strange how garfield became this odd almost humanoid entity, when in the beginning it was just a silly comic about a man and his completely normal cat with the age ol 'haha what does your cat REALLY think?' humor
A lot of homes have that since people can leech off of it without even knowing the person who they're leeching off of.
sometimes
I don't love it, but I've always liked it well enough. Family friend had a lot of merch, specially plushies.
who the fuck's that?
nega-garfield?
>draw a sexy girl
>call it a boy
Garfield really is a manga, huh?
No, he's Ne- Nega-garield, yes, that's Nega-Garfield.
Why would you want to password a wife?
Is nermal a boy or a girl?
Other people might reprogram her for their own purposes.
yes
suddenly I'm aware of how Garfield's feet looks like closet footfag fetish fuel
>webcomic?
No.
HA the joke is
>women
pretty fucking redbase and dpiledd if I can say so
what? im asking if the comic is real
i know what a wifi pass it
shut up wanker its funny
Nermal is canonically a boy, but young enough that there's still some ambiguity and neutralness to his gender.
Why Garfield become a character like ironically in recent years? Like the character was being treated the same way Shrek was for a time.
just a cutesy boy with highlighted feminine appearance to play up the cuteness, thats his entire character
i never had a problem understanding this because i saw garfield refer to him as male before and also i was hooked up to a machine one weekend and i had to watch the first garfield live action movie, clockwork orange style, thanks dericia
Because of Lasagna Cat returning from the dead for a small amount of time most likely.
Shrek 1 and 2 are unironically decent movies though. Garfield is completely soulless and unfunny dogshit outside of garfield and friends.
>I was born after 2000: the post
I always wondered why Nermal was voiced by a girl in the original show. I get that cats sound high-pitched, but these cats weren't talking, they were thinking, and he was the only one who wasn't thinking in the voice of a human male
cute and feminine to play up the adorable nature of himself
Think of the little badass at the top of this picture when you think of Nermal, not Jim Davis' cartoon monstrosity.
>imagine something different from what the illustrations are showing us
Works for chapter books. I would always picture real people while reading Roald Dahl even though the illustrations were cartoonish. Not possible to do with freaking comic collections though
I think it's been stale for a while and I don't like the new digital art
I can't stop chuckling at this for some reason
same i personally never found it confusing although i can see why you would
to be fair tho at least he didnt do to nermal whatever the fick he did to garfield's girlfriend. THAT is a fucking atrocity
there was a time where little kids were just little kids and gender was less important to em so they were all portrayed similarly with focus on "cuteness" esp if theyre animals and not people
