The Tartakovsky one was pretty good. The CGI one not so much but arguably Ahsoka is one of the few things that it does alright. Had Disney focused on her and Ventress instead of on the Skywalkers they could have actually won.

Regarding Clone Wars, my experience with that show was that there are some good episode, but veeeeeery few. It's based on the shittiest SW movie anyway, and the Jedis really suck in it (the Sith somehow don't).
I recommend the 2D Clone Wars cartoon instead because it's badass.

I don't think that's true at all. Other for than the stinger for the first season and today's episode, you don't need any "homework" at all to enjoy Mandalorian. And to be frank, all this shit with the Darksaber and the convoluted politics of Mandalore are silly and I wish the show veered away from it, instead of into it like it seems to be happening.
