Pretty much.
RvB 1-5 was motivated by Burnie's emotions; you could kinda see he was channeling his anger at other people's incompetence into his comedy. That's why it was funny, because it was based on a real human emotion that everyone who has ever had to put up with someone's incompetence could relate to. But then after he left and those other douchebags started to take over, there was nothing but a surface imitation of what made RvB funny.
