Just rediscovered this last week. Severely underrated series.
It is.
Surprised to see so many old places and characters coming together in this episode.
It’s one of the few shows where the story stays consistently great. Hopefully the cyoa parts one day get fully animated.
I’m torn between production and chronological order to watch them in.
The Reward works well will the twist that the treasure was really and evil god on a dead mans lap, but The First Hero actually explains how it happened.
Considering you've already seen it, the twist is a bit of a moot point now.
They doing a qna on the new ep right now btw

I'm glad I supported them on kickstarter.
Back during the before times when I still had money...
I honestly didn't expect this guy to show up. Maybe i should have expected it. I don't know what i should have expected. The feel of this new episode is kinda back to the original The Reward in some ways.

oh shid
I was not expecting that to happen to the lads.
isn't he at least 50 now
decent
No idea. He is however old he was before, plus however old his busty daughter is.
>the reward that awaits you
It's heartbreak.
I feel for the bandit crew that got left behind. They wanted to keep their found family happy but their adopted daughter wanted a revenge quest.
Really wish this series got more love
Release seems to be the order suggested by the creators
I think The Reward is the best intro to the series, it starts as a simple standalone story about friends on an adventure before it slowly opens up to reveal that there's more to the world around them. Everything else I'd watch it in the order of the season one video.
Yet their season 1 compilation is in order of events.

oh fug
God this series deserved so much more attention
She's got her father's pecks.
I'll bump to that.
How different do you think the CYOA stories would've been had they been fully funded episodes?
How much would still be the same?
I have a suspicion that the quality stayed high, because the production was so slow.
I mean how much of the CYOA do you think they had planned and how much do you think was made up along the way?
still good
They reveal the bandits' backstories after the fact.
It's the only gift he ever gave her
