Animaniacs' original crew was a bunch of random nobodies, writers nobody can name doing lazy scripts just to try to make it in the Hollywood industry. They were completely interchangeable. It would have just been more lousy work from the Finger Prince show, but even worse, as the hopes of a long and fruitful career in live action are missing.
There are also artists, but they made little impact on the final result. as you can see by the art in the show, which almost always looks like a bad in-between, not even an attempt at a key frame in a layout.
There's a reason why the only person anybody remembers is the cartoonist who was actually in charge.... Influence from the John K revolution, to be sure.

The original Animaniacs crew were not nobodies, the original crew was trained by Hayao Miyazaki and some of them even worked with Miyazaki before he founded Ghibli.
The scripts were not lazy.
They were not interchangeable as the reboot proved.
The Artists were all Miyazaki trained, they also did MOTRHER FUCKING AKIRA and even Miyazaki's own Castle in the Sky before they did Animaniacs.
Toshihiko Masuda who was Miyazaki's replacement once he left Telecom is remembered, he is one of Japan's greatest treasures.
Only the Freelance episodes had bad animation, Telecom was excellent.

Original Animaniacs was largely an attack on sanctimony, and political figures are among the most sanctimonious. But it wasn't overtly political. So they'd make fun of politics, but not revel in strawmens the way the buns episode did. Ruegger himself is super liberal, there would have been more Trump jokes if he had been in charge. But he'd tackle it in a different way.
There would be more one-shot villains for the Animaniacs to torment. The only new character in the reboot that comes close to this is that buff guy. In fact there would be more agitation in general. The Warners felt kind of passive in the new episodes.
