>inb4 le fun
>they actually made me want Snyder back.
Catching the bullet with her whip is the only part I really take issue with.
and her horrid "acting"
>Executives: Yeah thats fine probably, fuck people, they'll just buy whatever
Maybe I've just come to expect that, honestly. She's an atrocious actor. No presence at all. But you can at least expect an action scene to be alright, especially a chase sequence.
>Did anyone else just see Wonder Woman use a truck filled with soldiers as a shield?
>No Johnson, I just saw a million HBO MAX subscriptions sold for 30 days.
>But...we've given it out for free to nearly 7 million users!
>...fuuuuuuuuuuu
Don’t you mean (((acting)))?
Idgi, how is this any more ridiculous than the shit you see in MCU movies? Why do we hold DC movies to a higher standard?
disney's checks clear faster bro
Aren't they broke right now?
>how is this any more ridiculous than the shit you see in MCU movies
The choreography has no weight to it. Objects in space are behaving very differently than we are used to seeing in the world and that discongruity weighs on the mind even if the viewer is trying to ignore it and """enjoy the story."""
Also the soldiers behave strangely, namely by staring at their attacker without any indication that they know she's a threat to their lives.
Again I'm just saying the problems you're listing are pretty standard in MCU movies but you guys never nitpick them nearly as hard.
I still remember Cap's leap to hit Thanos with the hammer obviously had the arc of someone on wires. Thanos' soldiers acted like braindead retards too. I just don't understand how you can be so critical of a single trailer but the MCU has many hours of trash like this that doesn't bother you at all.
It's rhetorical, I know the answer the cognitive dissonance.
dude i agree dc and marvel moives both have really bad moments but show me one person in this thread that even mentioned the mcu before you
You're missing the point. If this thread was about an MCU movie all things else the same, no one would be automatically nitpicking they'd be autistically gigglesharting at the prospect of their new MCU product.
It's just something I've noticed for years, this board holds DC movies to such a higher standard even though DC movies don't even have a creative team behind them like MCU movies. It baffles me.
>but you guys never nitpick them nearly as hard
Yes we do. You're just ignoring those posts because of confirmation bias. You know what confirmation bias is, right? It's the concept you were struggling to express but you blurted out "cognitive dissonance" instead.
Thank you for helping make it so very clear that you're an idiot with a bias towards being a contrarian little bitchboy.
>how is lassoing a bullet more ridiculous?
the evidence is very clear, if you can't see it you can't be convinced
You've clearly never been in an MCU thread, nitpicking is met with angry replies and 90% of the thread is just blind praise you'd see on /r/movies. I distinctly remember this board sucking Ant-Man 2's cock when it came out kek.
Spiderman does way more crazy and stupid rope shit in his movies that completely disregard physics, why does it even matter? Oh wait those are MCU movies.
How is a magic lasso made by the gods being able to catch a bullet somehow worse than a bunch of magic gems that can simultaneously kill a random half of the universe in an instant?
>Pedro Pascal in another Kingsman 2 situation
I gotta say this guy is right. This board nitpicks the worst MCU movies like Thor even less than the best DC movies. Kinda backwards desu.
best chase scene coming thru youtu.be
because as you can see, it looks like the stupidest thing ever made (and goes against its own internal logic in the scene, since she's only running at the speed of the trucks, but then is able to turn around and lasso a bullet that is already past her - nevermind that she could just block it, I guess she forgot - and also steve has enough time to steer as well, and a machine gun conveniently fires only one bullet in that span of time)
Wow
That was awful
I could not tell who was where or what direction or speed anyone was going
The running effect is terrible
Christ
Every bullet time scene in these movies is garbage. Stop doing it.
If this is what they're using to promote it, imagine what they're hiding
But it doesn't. Honestly I've seen far stupider shit in films before. Hell the last movie had her using her lasso to swing on lightning bolts during a storm. It's a goofy action movie, ridiculous set pieces are the norm and half the appeal.
>Hell the last movie had her using her lasso to swing on lightning bolts during a storm.
no, it's this one too, dumbass
>dude what about marvel
