Would bet money Franklin actually does, but his powers being gone are a mental block thing. As in, until he realizes that his powers were never gone it will appear like he never had an X-Gene, but it'll reappear once his abilities come back.

I don't know about mental block, though it's possible that all of this is owing to some kind of personal breakdown Franklin is having. Something to do with growing up and being uncertain of himself, so he's making his life suck ass. That would be an easy enough retcon for whoever has to do clean up after Slott (whoever that poor bastard is).

On the other hand, I'm still not certain why this happened the way it did, in that Franklin burns out his powers the very moment a pre-big bang energy source of limitless potential is unleashed. The whole mess they made their shitty stargate out of sounds pretty much exactly like what you'd need to repower Franklin.

She brought back all the dead on Genosha as zombies, freaked out and far as I know thats the last we've seen of her so she could already be dead. Hopefully someone does use her so Hickman can't shit on her anymore than he already has.

That said I don't imagine Marvel is gonna let him kill her what with the show coming out. Gotta put her in something for the Brand Syngery.

Her appearance in the Empyre Avengers mini are set after the X-Men mini. She doesn't really do anything there, and Zub wasn't even allowed to mention his stupid crackship, but she's at least still alive.

This is the one exception where they're doing absolutely nothing but some reprints. Wanda was going to have the lead role in the Darkhold mini that's been pushed back to later in 2021, and nobody's doing anything with Vision.

He probably thinks he could do better and that everything he writes is and should be the definitive version of the story/characters.

That said I'm not really hating his F4 run as much as I expected. Ben and Alicia's marriage was nice as was them adopting the Skrull and Kree kids. I liked that they made their base in Yancy Street. He hasn't really fucked Doom up or tried to force Mole Man as the greatest F4 villain because he is also a fat manlet with an inferiority complex. I'd say he's doing an ok job so far, but it could get worse I don't deny that.
