I was waiting to see the new thread. Got a gift in the mail, thanks to whoever sent it! I was practically raised on Poe thanks to my English teacher mother. She had a book like this one and I've been eyeing it for some time now to bring back those old memories. Macabre illustrations mixed with some of Poe's finest, what more could you want?

I guess today is my attempt at finally fixing my sleep pattern, maybe ill have a full week of waking up at a normal time instead of 7pm... In other news I bought a copy of Crackers off ebay and I plan on streaming it at some point in the near future. So now a long forgotten christmas movie will end up being seen once again, hopefully its its decent or at least so bad its good.
Glad to see it got to you swiftly and safely. The illustrations look beautiful, I'm going to need to pick up a copy of it sometime. That penguin is horrific and I so wish to see it close up and on a big screen, one day... GDT is such an amazing director and storyteller. My favourite movie is Pacific Rim, but movies like Pans labyrinth and The Shape of Water are just so fucking amazing to behold, the love and care he puts into his work is astounding and he deserves to be let loose on new projects
I feel you brother, went into lockdown july 8th and didnt come out of it till the 28th of october. Even had a curfew in place. People went nuts, BUT we have been at 0 new or active cases and 0 deaths for 40 days now. You'll come out of it in a better place, hopefully

The rules are simple. These are replacement puzzles that are concealing a Christmas quote/reference/lyric. While some of my puzzles are very difficult, I try to build all of them to break down with one or two good assumptions.

Financial help is something I've lucked out on, and seeing how others countries have handled their "economies" during this pandemic is really eye opening, it sucks that governments will put you in such a shitty position because they truly do not care about their own people. I hope you're doing alright and I really hope your government wisens up and help you and the populace, no one deserves to be left behind in times like these.
