In which Professor Duane takes Elka to school.
Unsounded
What's with all the niggers?
Goddamn it Elka, I’m trying to enjoy this nice exchange of spellwork but your dummy thick is distracting me
We're still on one count friend. Restrain yourself a page or two longer.
Man, I knew Elka was good but if I'm reading the spellwork on the page right she's stylish in a way I wasn't really giving her credit for.
More like what's with the Quiggers? Seriously, why did that coward dodge? Duane stood his ground.
Elka just can't catch a fucking break.
What Duane doesn't realize is that Captain Toma, hero of Cresce is going to be popping in about now
God I want that on my face.
Nobody catches a break around Duane, he’s the Ultima Weapon secret megaboss of pymary.
According to the patreon announcement, the bricks move is one of Duane's favorite cute technique showcases and it endeared her to him
I ship it
It's taking the momentum from the elevator and hopping it over to the bricks, right?
In terms of actually accomplishing anything, using solidity like that has once again gone over like a load of bricks
I usually have trouble figuring out when they are just using aspects or if they are flinging actual objects.
It's a meaningless difference when the aspect is Solidity. An actual brick or the instantiated Solidity of a brick are pretty much the same
Only one nigger on this page, user; patience
I'll be honest, 90% of the time I can't figure out what aspects they're using and where they're pulling them from in pymary fights. I would love to read one of those long ass Lord of the Rings-esque descriptions of a wizard duel she threatened once.
Not entirely true, transferring an aspect from something can cause agitation and damage to the Khert when done improperly
>when done improperly
do you expect that from either of these two?
Elka, possibly. She's got decent technique, but she's also a lot more worried than Duane is
He'd have to fight Toma for her, because we can all see THAT relationship coming a mile away.
So if he was human, would that BLAM have gotten him?
Quigley is a nigger. You just can't see it because of dammakhert fuckery.
Brick to the head, definitely. That shit would crack your skull.
>Shoots his fucking zombie arm at her
>No "can I give you a hand"
COOOOOOOOPE
I was mainly thinking about structural damage. Like if they pull too many bricks, the walls might start to collapse. Then I remember how Duane took the edge, or was it sharpness, from that guards sword. When he did that, the sword dissolved.
I'm not so sure that would put Duane down even if he were alive, that boy got the Blackbeard treatment before he died.
Elka probably would have said it if she did that trick.
It visually looks like when he was fighting off his assassins. I initially thought it probably more something like extending the contours of the bricks way out of the way some how, but you can see the end of the brick so it maybe some sort of momentum change. But the fact that the whole thing is kind of ghostly and colored like when they take or change the contours of something makes it more vague to me.
Toma was super fucked before the Crescian traitors decided to use his body as a sand bag. I can't imagine he's in a great condition. Most likely he's down at the bottom with the scientist they found, Minnow, and whoever else was left in this complex.
Is it no long physically possible for someone to call someone else darling, even a woman, and not sound like a total queen? I simply can't conjure such a thing up in my mind.
You don't have to go all "daahhhling" with it, but Duane's a fucking nerd.
Also, double checking this page, even if the brick trick is a bit vague (though you can see the green brick dropping in panel three so presumably he did move the actual brick itself out), you can clearly tell what he did next: taking the momentum from the arrow and transferring it to the shooter.
Even though I missed it several times, it's one of the slicker presentations of a pymary attack.
He said it with a hard-R, which makes him extra sexist
Duane is to busy grading her like homework to do puns.
Duane isn't gay, he's a chauvinist. Although I kind of think he's mostly a total nerd and means it in an urbane Frasier Crane kind of way.
Duane's right. If her defense were better, she could have taken that jabroni Old Whatshisface.
We have a green light on power level wank in this thread, if any of you are so inclined.
Far ahead of the pack is Duane and I don't pay enough attention to figure out the difference between the other three
Duane probably beats everyone except maybe Keon. Keon seems like the kind of experimental asshole to pull a nasty trick even Duane wouldn't have thought of.
