Why is her mom Starfire of all characters? Think about the kind of person that likely sees themselves in OPs character. I don't imagine their the kind of person who goes for Starfire of all characters.
Or is that the whole point? Starfire fits the bill for the kind of 'Stacy' or 'Karen' people like that would feel the least connected to? If that's the case it seems kind of sad. From the comics I've read, Starfire seems like the kind of person that would try her hardest to connect with someone who was important to her. I mean she tries her hardest with Blackfire of all people. But here it looks like her daughter ended up more distant to her than a lot of kids belonging to Superheroes who you think would want nothing to do with parenting.
