Would the show be improved if luz was homeless before she went through the portal?
Hobo luz
Looks like Janna minus the soul.
It's a good look. Of course she wouldn't need to be homeless to dress like a hobo. But sure, I think it might have helped to make her seem like more of an actual outsider as opposed to the show as-is where she's supposedly a weirdo just because the show tells us so.
Nah, I think her being older and jaded would have made the show a bit fun. I still like the idea of her just beating the shit out of people with a bat with magic seals wrapped around it.
Like a homeless person?
So Janna then?
Kek
No like a rebellious violent teenager.
why?
Eh. Rebellious teens are overdone, Violent homeless people is an untapped character market.
Well I don't think homeless people are what the 10-15 demographic would be interested in looking up to.
Why is she homeless though?
cause she doesn't have a home Duh
But why doesn't she have home? Did she run away? It's pretty hard to be homeless in America unless you want to.
Just binged through the first season since they finally put it on Disney+.
Enjoying the lore setup on some of the stuff. Even some nice subtle things like how Luz can't use glyphs in the human world being shown just super quick and not dwelled upon.
Hoping Season 2 we get to meet some of the "Greatest witches of each Coven" that were briefly mentioned in that one episode.
Also the gay is pretty cute.
Ten times more interesting
>Luz by having no attachment to the real world can be accepted in staying in the boiling isles as a replacement since her real life is shit anyway. She isn't running from responsibility, she's making a better life for herself. You can see her staying with Eda for the rest of her life
>Eda being her motherly figure would fit better because she has no real mother that actually loves her
>Her deciding to get the portal back would be selfless since she has no reason to care about the real world, but is a good enough person to know that its the right thing to do to stop Belos from taking over Earth
>Enjoying the lore set up on some of the stuff.
Like what? Everyone keeps yapping on about the lore but it's less of lore and more plot. What about it do you find interesting?
I find it pretty standard stuff: a magic school with branches and a dictatorship controlling everything. The only real hidden stuff is that stuff about the giants which I guess could come into play later but we have no reason to really care about it yet.
She looks like she'd suck me off behind the dumpster for some crack money.
forced meme, the only people more obsessed with She Ra PoP than the people who watched it are the people who didn't
kicked out of house for being gay
The Titans and the overall plan of the Emperor are the big mystery stuff, but there's been plenty of worldbuilding things throughout the show so far that could be delved into deeper.
Like the Coven heads I mentioned. Also stuff like Bat Queen's giant witch (maybe Titan related), the actual nature/origin of the owl curse, the nature of the glyphs and why they became a lost magic (especially when they still DO have "magic from paper" unlike Bump's claim as seen with the owl curse spell and the lockpicking scroll Amity's siblings used).
And then there's tons of room for things they haven't even touched on yet. Like fucking everything about King's origin/backstory.
Revy?
I haven't seen any hobos walking into a fantasy land before; sounds like a neat concept. My guess is that her life would be more complicated in some ways and simpler in others.
We all know that's nowhere close to the shows actual audience
It's funny tho. I don't have anything against Owl House or spop, but that dumb ass picture always makes me chuckle. That meme has so many layers of stupid that it loops around to being funny.
I'm a sucker for extremely practical magic.
No because you will still have the same writers/storyboarders
Cute
the fact that literally every au and beta design is more popular than the canon is fascinating to me. especially since the world is trying to be one of those cosy fantasy escapism worlds, that you'd usually make aus about other characters being in. on top of that, instead of canon stuff there's just dozens and dozens of art pieces with emo luz, psycho girl amity and evil willow, and literally no other owl house characters.
it's like the show is seen as only good as a jumping off point for fanmade stuff.
then she should just buy one then
>I still like the idea of her just beating the shit out of people with a bat with magic seals wrapped around it.
Now I want to see hobo Luz dressed as Lil' Slugger.
