In the comics, a toned down version of it actually happened. One of Mac's friends imagined a super girly, hotter, vaguely bimbo-y Frankie who loved boys and cleaning, and his parents made him give her up because she was too 'mature' for him. Translation: They were afraid he was gonna fuck her.
