I think the Wimpy Kid style doesn't really work outside the books and crude 2D animation, it's supposed to be the doodles of a moderately talented middle school kid.
Flesh colored also looks weird on it.

The first one.
Greg wants to build the world’s biggest snowman, so he gets Rowley over to help or some shit.
The ball becomes too big to actually push without a lot of work (which Greg hates), and decides to save it for when a gang of douchebgs come up the hill.
Then he sees Manny working on a little snowman and kicks it over, to which his dad comes out and destroys the ball.
