I don't understand the hype around it. I mean it's a decent anime with good animation, but it doesnt really have something that wows me about it. I just feel like for a lot of normies it was their first battle shounen and that's why they rate it so highly.

I read the manga, the butterfly pilar girl gets eaten by a high moon demon, the pink haired pillar and the the snake one also die, the pillar that is always crying dies as well, and the Pilar of Fire is one of the first ones to die, nezuko becomes able to stay under the aun and that makes muzan go after her so he can walk under the sun as well, gets killed but then tanjiro becomes possesed by muzan, and becomes the next demon lord

Actual chads realize what one piece is really trying to tell with its story, which I find more kino than the normie "to obtain something you have to give something like your arm or your leg", to put it simple one piece has the same ideology but instead of giving a part of your body you give out your moral values, the only way to be free in the world of one piece is by being a pirate

I recommend "Infinite Dendrogram".

Anime is cringe
The screeching, the endless inner monologues, the fake deep voice trying to come off as badass...etc. I don't know how anyone can look past any of this.

Overall, FMA > OP but the early 150-200 episodes of OP are on par with FMA
