Played a fair bit of Red Dead Redemption 1 back in the day but in hindsight it was mostly doing a bunch of boring miniquests like hunting and collecting flowers like an actual dandy.

GTA V was a mockery of Los Angeles culture in general and it had it down to a tee. It mocked the black and Latino gangbanger types, but also white people people in LA too, namely the valley types, the hipsters and the media types.
