Few Americans espouse extremist beliefs, and most that do tend to either be insane ancom conspiracy theorist boomers or insane evangelical theocrat boomers.
American communism is near solely confined to academia and college students/high schoolers. Nazis are also pretty much exclusively high schoolers and Neo-Confederate sympathizers. Not a large chunk of the population for either.
For the most part your average American is apolitical/centrist with a differing opinion on Trump.
