When was the last time your country declared war on another country, (not just terrorists or interventions), do you think you could win if you went to war again?

Technically WWII againsy germany
I think the last nation vs nation war was the Ifni war of 1957, but I'm quite sure there was no declaration of war. Declarations of war are rare since the UN charter.
1941 to USA
haha
but do you think you could win to morocco
apparently in 1944 to Finland when they made peace with the Soviets and attacked German troops stationed in Finland
>that passive aggressive sign
lel how positively German
until the late 80's Vietnam was occupying Cambodia and it was a total mess of a war there. Only left because China and the USA cried to the UN and then put the Khmer Rouge back in power.
besides that there have been smaller border conflicts mostly with bandits coming across trying to smuggle things like drugs.
Army has done good to keep most of these smugglers out of the country, but its a lot of work and the highlands are just so hard to manage.
Afaik the Germans were given fair warning to evacuate to Norway but they decided to chimp out on their way north
but do you think you could win bro
we've never.
>do you think you could win
Israel is stronger than us and supported by the Arab world and America
We beat Isis tho alone and rescued American hostages that America wasn't able to rescue
Well, we won every war against Morocco since like the 14th century, and we have literal missiles in Murcia pointing directly to Rabat, but what kind of war are you thinking of? Irregular war, total war, attrition war? Remember that most modern wars are asymmetric. What would be the war goals, what would be the overall strategic goal?
Same
I really like the flag of NK
well tecnicly it was aginst ourselfs but yeah we could beat the shit out of our ex colonies just due to the fact we have modern fucking wepons
capture their capital and major cities and win enough battles to make them surrender and stop fighting
Brazil would fucking destroy you lol
>we won every war against Morocco since like the 14th century
Can you list them?
we never fought brazil you iliterate faggot
>iliterate

Not from memory, from Wikipedia:
>1342-1344 siege of Algeciras
>1497 conquest of Melilla
>1694-1727 siege of Ceuta
>1774 siege of Melilla
>1859-1860 Spanish invasion of Morocco
>1893-1894 Melilla war
>1920-1926 Rif war
>1957-1958 Ifni war
That's not what modern wars are like and capturing the enemy capital means jack shit. Maybe we could, but it's irrelevant. If you're bad at counter-insurgency, you can win all battles and still lose the war. Americans bombed Iraq and Afghanistan to pieces and set up puppet governments but would you say that they have won in both countries? Or Russians in Chechnya '96 until they were blasted by guerrillas in the town centre? Or Sri Lanka in Tamil Eelam for 30 years before they killed Prabhakaran?
russia unlike the us actualy passified chechnya by sheer brutality but then again iraq and afganistan are much larger and further away
-1344 siege of Algeciras
That's a siege and it was mostly involving Grenada. By this logic you also lost the war of 1369.
>1497 conquest of Melilla
>1694-1727 siege of Ceuta
siege of Melilla
one siege/single event, not really a war or campaign By this logic morocco won a dozen of wars when the saadian reconquered the portuguese cities on the coast.
-1860 Spanish invasion of Morocco
Yep, I'll give you that one I guess, even if the conflict started between tribes from bled siba and not really morocco. I guess this one count. (still poor performance, 4000 spaniard killed and 4,000 injured vs 6,000 moroccan killed)
-1894 Melilla war
that's a war between some random independant berber tribes and spain, it did not involve morocco, the moroccan kingdom, moroccan army or state. Those tribes were the ennemies of morocco.
-1926 Rif war
This war is between the rif republic and spain, morocco was not involved (the rif republic is the ennemy of morocco). Also Spain lost it pretty hard before France did most of the job desu.
-1958 Ifni war
"Spain is unable to secure a decisive military victory [1]
Spain gives up on most of Ifni [2]
Ifni is transferred to Morocco in 1969"
how is that a victory. Also, stricly speaking, this war was not between the kingdom of morocco and spain. The MNA only represented itself and was not the moroccan chrifian army proper. It's a stretch to say it was morocco.
ayyy
Serbia in the 90s
fuck serbia
fuck biggie
fuck bad boy as a staff, record label and as a motherfuckin crew
Not counting WWII and WWI there's a war against Bolivia for acre in 1889
There was also a fight against french settlers in the amazon in 1904, but I am not sure if I can call it a war or not since despite having support from the french governament they were just a bunch of farmers with guns but so were the first brazilians fighting for acre
