Trump was successful as a reality TV star but I think he made his career in politics via Twitter, which continues to be the main way he makes his name for himself.
I don't think we are too far off from bloggers or youtubers political career, especially if populism continues to grow and as zoomers come of age. Zoomers seem to love youtube a lot as their primary way of getting new info/opinions.
