I doubt they "promote" this, but even if they were, the EU has brought never before seen prosperity and peace to the continent, so even if they were promoting stuff like this, I'd say its a fair price considering how good they made life in europe

we voted no
they made us join a treaty through parliament instead, who happened to be the carbon copy of the constitution not even 3 years later

also its gradually taking more and more control from the states, breaking everything into private sector, and then when people start getting mad because they are getting screwed, they say it is the states fault, and that anyone who disagrees with eu is a dangerous nationalist

also they take money from states and then reinvest it back, but claim it was EU money, gets me mad when france is a net contributor for eu for dozens of years, and we could do better without them
