Do you have a nuclear power plant in your country?
What do you think about nuclear power?
Do you have a nuclear power plant in your country?
What do you think about nuclear power?
no
I wish we replaced all our coal power plants with a single nuclear one
>Do you have a nuclear power plant in your country?
Yes, I work at Forsmark.
>What do you think about nuclear power?
It's great.
we own 50% of a nuclear power plant though
>Do you have a nuclear power plant in your country?
yes, but they're all supposed to be phased out in the coming years because people freaked out after Fukushima
>What do you think about nuclear power?
better than coal but it's probably gonna be tough to simultaneously phase out coal and nuclear power (which Germany wants to do)
not enough
maybe if we had built that one in Albania
>Germany had 17 nuclear power plants
>it was responsible for 30% of Germany's total energy
>they will all be shutdown by 2022
So what's the clean replacement for that energy?
>Do you have a nuclear power plant in your country?
Yes, way more than one
>What do you think about nuclear power?
It's good because it produces clean energy
We have one. Brazilians are afraid of nuclear power because they think it can explode like a nuclear bomb, so Brazil will never get any new nuclear power plant.
>70% of the energy produced is nuclear
bretty gud
yes
too expensive
but the alternatives are even more expensive
coal until the 2030s and then hopefully all renewables
yes, tons of them
nuclear power is based, clean and efficient
retards here want to close the plants but they don't understand ""renewable""" energy is 100x worse for the environment than nuclear, plus it's not as reliable
it's really stupid
Nuclear energy is the relatively cleand it's much much more eficient than renewable meme
Have you heard about lition?
Yes, and they actually started a discussion about building a second one, which I would support wholeheartedly
no but I just looked it up and seems like a cool thing
Once earthquake hit nuclear plants, it will be disaster
Nope.
I'm pretty glad we don't have a plant considering the amount of earthquakes we get.
Yes
It's the best energy source we have for the ratio efficiency/pollution, the hate on nuclear power is mostly from people who don't know much about it
>Do you have a nuclear power plant in your country?
Yes, I've worked in one.
no earthquakes in France
and they built tons of them in Japan and they only got 1 accident which was not even that bad desu
Almaraz or trillo i think
Fossil fuel corporations literally made Chernobyl happen to spread anti-nuclear propaganda.
It's the cleanest, safest and coolest way to produce energy.
To hell with fossil fuel fags.
One in Turkey isn't active yet.
Nuclear is more efficient compared to other sources for electricity generation.
more efficient in what sense
hydro pretty much BTFOs nuckear on price per MW, reaction to demand, and gives you the added benefit of controlling river flow, potentially keeping floods under control
newer solar and wind have also dropped below nuclear on costs, assuming you build them in the right place
How close are we to fusion?
we have a ton of atomic energy in baguetteistan, it's great desu,
>NPP
>in poland
wat
30 years
The new Thorium ones are very based, nuclear waste has always been the biggest problem. Unfortunately, German hippies have lost their minds and want us to leave nuclear AND fossile energy as soon as possible to show everyone how progressive we are.
