Do you Brahmins in India have this stereotype of having large noses? You can identify the Brahmin by the size of his nose. That's what is commonly said.
Brahmins are the elite caste the original caste system but that did not mean that they were exempt from the law. Some Chad Kings in India would catch and punish Brahmins for their misdeeds. Doing this was quite risky since Brahmins had a lot of institutional power such as controlling universities and often being the Prime Minister of the state beside the King.
Indians rule your country Defence minister is Indian Leader of NDP is Indian Your prime minister Trudeau is Indian
Zachary Foster
If Brahmins are so powerful why is it that all successful Pajeets outside of India, away from Hindu autism, are dark as fuck?
Adam Watson
i like singh as a person, byt the NDP got fucked hard last election because of how our seat system works
Trudeau (pbuh) the indo warrior had reworking the electoral system as one of his campaign promises, but backed off because it benefits his party immensely
Josiah Gray
What's the likelihood of Jagmeet doing better in the next election though?
Liam Robinson
depends on a few things, conservatives are set to make gains because the liberals are being retarded, and it depends on whether or not they can capitalize on disenfranchised rural voters. Somewhat unintuitively, the NDP has a sizeable rural voterbase, since socialist policy is a net benefit to a lot of really, really rural areas here. I guess it's too early to know for sure
My main gripe with the NDP is that they lose sight of a lot of economic socialist policy and focus in on a lot of intersectional social issue bullcrap that has no bearing on anything, mostly gender and race crap. I understand why they discuss it since they're progressive, but it does a lot of optical harm for people like me who are socially conservative but economically socialist. On one hand, I align with conservatives on social issues, but on the other, I want more economic regulation and government infrastructure programs that aren't in private hands.
Oh well, can't win em all I guess
Connor Johnson
Will this last long though, aren't white Canadians waking up? Don't they find it weird that they have these very alien looking people at the helm?
Isaiah Kelly
Tamil Brahmins.
Jordan Ward
as much as the civic nationalism meme is pushed, indian diaspora in Canada become so whitebread in a single generation it's ridiculous. 75% of brown people in the GTA are typical Toronto whites in a pajeet body, it's amazing really. I've had conversations with indian men that sound like a Bob & Doug character, going full "aboot", not even kidding.
The consequence of that is that Indians aren't seen as weird aliens in Canada. I genuinely believe that even the Canadian magapedes don't have huge issues with white'd indians, but just the ones in GTA ethnic enclaves that don't speak english and commit gang crime. And the demographic shift isn't going to stop any time soon, Canada needs the raw population growth to prop up the pyramid scheme of federal dole and pension, so even if there was a large coordinated movement against kicking them out, it wouldn't make it far
Landon Parker
Yeah, kind of the same here, the main movement seems to he against Muslims, people seem to be fine with Indians and Chinese, especially Sikhs who are seen as honourable as they served in commonwealth armies both wars.
Even if they act white, I would still find it a bit creepy, just imagine if 90% of people in Canada were Indian and Chinese who had fully assimilated and integrated, would still be quite freaky.
Elijah Myers
chinese are kind of different since they seem to hold on to pro-china sentiment and culture even after being born here, Hong Kongers and Koreans blend quick, but something about mainland chinese folk makes them resistant to whitewashing for whatever reason
also, keep in mind that the UK is old world, Canada's new world. We don't have national epics dating back thousands of years, even our traditionalists identify with old world nationalities like England & France. I guess this lends itself to being less strange when our demographics start skewing.
Oliver Hughes
I still don't believe it when you keep saying that the Chinese don't assimilate. How do they even perform in schools if they don't speak the language?
Ryder Brooks
you misunderstand the difference between assimilating and being whitewashed. One speaks the language and functions completely well in society, but the other basically becomes a boring white guy named Tom in brown face paint
Eli Davis
But even the whitewashed part seems to apply to Chinese people. All the Chinese people in popular media are the most whitewashed ones around yet I keep hearing how Chinese (only since political problems with China itself arose) suddenly are the most annoying and overly anti-white demographic around.
Zachary Clark
you need to interact with a large amount of them to understand.
There have been many waves of asian immigration to Canada, and up until now, the most recent was from Hong Kong in 97 throughput the 2000s. They're the former, and nobody really has or had any problems with them being here whatsoever.
The new wave that started since the chinese middle class popped up have been the problem. Birth tourism is by far the most flagrant, where chinese people pay hospices in BC to give birth there, guaranteeing their children Canadian citizenship through jus soli. Also, rich chinese use Canadian education and real estate as a resource for their children and to move their money into from CCP-regulated accounts and oversight into foreign assets. The ones that do immigrate also have a much stronger association with Chinese identity and have political beliefs that oppose Canadian values and align closer to their homelands. They don't have the disillusionment with their homeland that many people who traded-up to Canada hadz instead Canada is a resource to be used.
Henry Gutierrez
I see, thanks for explaining. We never got this new wave.
Alexander Clark
A good portion of Indian immigrants in Canada are Sikhs who are exiled folk. They basically don’t see India as their country because they fled the Hindu-Sikh violence and are still pissed about it which they have a right to. They literally see Canada as their homeland.
also, to add onto this, ethnic enclaves are an emerging issue, even for other nationalies like Indians. Before recently, you HAD to deal with the average Canadian to exist in Canada, you had to interface with the system. But because they're coming in bulk, they don't HAVE to deal with Canadians. You have huge neighborhoods where you have a chinese lawyer buy your property, you buy your food from a chinese grocer, you send your kids to a school where most people can speak chinese, and you talk and socialize with only other chinese people. This prevents the naturalization process, and is a failure of our integration and settlement process. most people have. We, as well as the UK and Australia, got earlier chinese immigration because Hong Kong was British territory, and we were the closest open, readily-immigratable western nations. But now, with the rise of the Chinese middle class, they're much more able to send their diaspora globally to take advantage of public infrastructure, education, and financial opportunity, and their sheer population size makes it hard to ignore
yep, I went into this earlier, most immigrants saw moving to Canada as a trade up as opposed to a lateral move. This made integration much, much more viable and faster.
