Yes, it's just as cringe as people wanting reparations for something that happened hundreds of years ago.
Some blacks in America could still have right to reparations but only if they themselves have been discriminated against. There are still people alive from before the civil rights movement, though not that many.
And reparations should of course always come from the state, not a specific ethnic group. You can't prosecute an ethnic group for something that some of its members did. But if the American state discriminated against some people, they could definitely deserve reparations from the state.

Being proud of your race's average iq is dumb too. If your family has high iq but you're stupid that doesn't make you have high iq.
