To promote it

I did it too for years until I began thinking and figured adding oil to water is stupid

I thought everyone did this?

only inbred idiots with rotten teeth do it

i dont but why not

British people have some of the best teeth in the world, in the top 10 in fact.

Why waste good oil?

Someone adds oil to pasta but it has to be some particular pasta. I've heard my mom doing it once but i don't remember what was she making

clogs up the drain when you strain it
you're not supposed to put oil in the sink user

The anglo needs fuel for empire building

cringe

Samefag

I don't. Never have.

So the starch doesn't stick the pasta together.
t. carnivore that doesn't eat pasta anyways.

this

lmao

you only add salt and thats about it
why is he so retarded

A bit of oliv ole

Olive oil hardly clogs as it's "soft" oil.

But putting it into pasta water is just waste.

Facts dont beat memes

Youre not using enough water in the pot or you're overcooking it

>litl bit o' olivool
*pours quarter of a bottle*

Ask yourself. Where is the starch? Now, where is the oil?

yeah I'm sure it helps somehow while floating on top of the water

ask her

No you utterly retard, he's saying about put oil IN THE BOILING WATER not in the flour

adding oil to a pot of water reduces surface tension and prevents it from boiling over
don't waste olive oil though, use cooking oil

Adding olive oil to the water is literally mentally retarded. You add it to the pasta after draining, if necessary. But usually unless you're leaving the pasta to sit for hours, the pasta sauce will prevent sticking.
