What's it like living near the border between countries?
What's it like living near the border between countries?
I live near the belgian border but the last bus stops are still in france so I don't really go in wallonia
You know who else lived near the border between countries? Hitler. Look what fucking happened.
I live near Luxembourg, Germany and Belgium
France is the best cunt desu
I was born 500m from the Swiss border and lived there as a kid
seemed normal
Cheap German gas
other than the fact that you barely ever go shopping in your own country when the neighbouring country is cheaper it doesn't impact you much
If I hadn't seen the flag, I would've sworn that you were American.
I live near the Belgian border. Aside from the Belgians coming to the city to shop and go out there isn't much difference. One could argue all of the Netherlands is technically near a border so idk.
I love europoors.. they think paying 2.50 a litre for gas is cheap hahahahaha
>Belgians coming to the city to shop
I live in a 25K town that has a massive industrial area with an IKEA and stuff and half the people that come there are Germans since the border is about 10km away
at least the Belgians speak Dutch
I hate hard borders s omuch
I'm living near the tri-point between Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, it took me a little more than 20 minutes to walk there.
Occasionally I would go to Holland to shop for various reasons (on Sunday when supermarkets close in Germany for example)
Going to the Netherlands to shop is quite common amongst female chinese students here as well
Many youngsters (mostly male) go there for *DUDE WEED LMAO*
I once gave direction to a young clueless Dutch couple, aside from that I hardly see Dutch people coming here.
In comparision, there're more Belgians visiting for the sauna and thermal bath (they spoke French but I assumed they're Belgian)
live in a border city
shit sucks biiiiig
>not living on a single country island
Pathetic
what the fuck is a border
pretty much everything down south is cheaper especially gas, but I mostly go for the nature
love maine simple as
t. leaf
Pretty neat. I can be in the Netherlands in less than an hour, in Belgium in about one hour, in Luxembourg in less than 2 hours and in France in about 3 hours.
Pretty good, it's close to the Spanish brothels.
koln fag
Wrong, way further north
It depends entirely on which border between which countries. Living on the Canadian/American border is like “teehee I illegally touched my toe in Canada without showing my official papers haha try and arrest me Canadians I’m such a rebel” while living on the border between say India and Pakistan I’m sure is some completely more macabre affair.
It's an international thing. You wouldn't understand.
That’s more of a indication that you’re a moron who can’t instinctively identify completely obvious sarcasm
The idea of borders sounds so fucking strange. We have temporary closed internal borders because of coronachan now, but even that's weird as fuck.
The idea that you could literally walk to another country is beyond strange
I literally moved into another country by signing some paper at the city hall.
Tijuanafag?
hot, brown, and full of ugly brown people
You should have kept suriname like we kept french guyana so we would share two borders
I can walk to France
you live in Europe so it's impossible for you to not be near a border.
Norwegian border is 300 meters from my house. It's just a random "line" in the woods that's only visible on a map.
Stop stealing our gold and especially stop making us soldiers having to go to french guyana so much, i hate it, spiders are bigger than my heads infections can kill you it's super wet and hot and since it's still in france it's not even paid as the middle east and africa, thanks and pass the word to your brothers i don't want to go again please help
At what point do you know you have to switch languages?
afwul, canadian tourists are very rude
Well, if I walk 10 minutes and cross a bridge people start speaking Finnish instead. That's pretty much it.
hue
tu dois être heureuse de pouvoir baiser des natifs chattes
i could walk over 10000KM north, and people would still be catholic, brown, live more or less the same life that i live and be catholic.
so we don't have many real borders in this side of the world
>Belize border
Comfy
I’m curious as to what living on the borders in South America are like. Like in the US theres an unbelievable difference between our northern border which is just a meme invisible line, while our southern border is like “fence that shit the fuck off nigga and shoot border hoppers on sight”
