There are exceptions in the age of consent rules where the older person is in a position of authority. Teachers, cops, employers, stepparents, etc. Here in my city there is a recent case where a 40-something teacher is going to prison for fucking one of his 16 year old students. If he wasn't her teacher there would be no crime, and the girl has been publicly screeching about how this was a consensual relationship, but that guy is still going to the big house.

Went to a private school in Dublin. It was pretty normal apart from the fact that there were a bunch of rich kids there and I kind of felt out of place since I was there on a scholarship.
There were stricter rules than public schools, mostly regarding your appearance. Uniform had to be spick and span, hair had to be modest, that sort of thing. I didn't really mind it.

Only downside was the lack of easy slags.
