I think it's really just Funland. Many places in Norway and Sweden arguably look better than Germany. Not necessarily cities, but the overall landscape is much more captivating.

Stockholm and Copenhagen are beautiful cities, so you have no clue what you are talking about. On the other hand, Oslo on the other hand is not because Norway's been in an union with either Sweden and Denmark for the last centuries, and they rather wanted to invest the money in the capitals. Nobody goes to Norway anyway because of the cities, but rather because of the beautiful nature.

look how well maintained this public space is. That perfect line of grass behind the sidewalk. The sidewalk clean of leaves. Sidewalk low for convenience and because people just don't park there so no need to stop them. Bus stop not broken or full of trash or graffiti'd.
