Who will continue to kill Americans if the police don't?
This is pretty based. Camden, New Jersey did the same thing and immediately crime went down, police complaints went down, percentage of unsolved cases went down, and the community relations between the police and the residents are actually good now, plus if anything happens the city is no longer liable.
No, never have been
idgi, the whole city would just not have police anymore?
County, state, federal police would still operate
>nobody investigates crime
>reported crime goes down
They have state police
>fuck the police!
>police hjelp!
whats the difference?
how many kind of "police" do you need?
No. Bunda is law.
>Brazil: Murder rate spikes in Ceará state as police strike
>The authorities in Brazil say 147 people have been murdered in the north-eastern state of Ceará in the first five days of a military police strike.

American cops should take a vacation for a week.
more like
>fuck the police
>but also, fuck the police
city/county can only enforce laws in their city/county, state police operate within the entire state
look up the word jurisdiction
also i think fbi is the only federal level of police, besides military base police and federal district police (work like state or local police, but in areas that are not technically part of any state, like DC, or puerto rico)
so basically they will leech off area rather than fix their cities problem
Who will be responding to calls if they disbanded? State and sheriffs? Wouldn’t they want more funding to compensate
It's more a matter of principle than money. The head of the police union in Minneapolis and a bunch of higher ups in the department conspired with the republican state legislature to try and strip all power away from the mayor and governor and grant full emergency powers to the state legislature and police. The only way you're going to get rid of something like that is by disbanding it entirely.
>head of the police union in Minneapolis
Well I mean obviously it’s the union head not the actual police leadership. I don’t think that’s surprising
Brazil is also a 24/7 version of The Purge
Here we don't have city police at all, only state and federal so maybe it does make sense
Are state police better than local police? I was under the impression that more state cops were assholes.
depends on the state I think
in Michigan state cops are kinda tightly wound, but very reasonable and do things by the books
but most local cops are corrupt as fuck, overzealous and ready to give any ticket/criminal charges they can, and loot your vehicle/pockets while you being arrested, because legally they can steal anything they want if they "suspect it is related to a crime" (keeping cash, medicine, etc even if you end up being released with no charges) if you dont live in the zipcodes that elect the local sheriffs
so state cops are heavily preferred
Ohio state police love to ticket people with Michigan license plates, but Michigan state police do the same to Ohio plates, so thats kinda another thing entirely
what he said happens in america too. not so much a police strike but police activity heavily decreased due to ongoing in-house investigations caused by a case where deadly force was used going viral causing homicides to spike.

D......did he shart himself?
what happens when police are needed?
Holy fucking based
Get a gun
In fact, get several
>hurr durr county sheriffs and state police don't exist
black people
horrible photoshop job
>a children
>Minneapolis
>criminal record? YEAH KILL EM
This is far too extreme for me to believe it.
not sure why anyone would want to be police in a city with lots of minorities
somehow i think the fire department might be better equipped to handle it
wonder who is more likely to misrepresent the situation
Same reason Zig Forumstards fantasize about fighting in Rhodesia
