The Taiwanese students at my university are very friendly and outgoing, but the Chinese students are very shy and don't hang out outside their ethnic group. The Chinese students also barely speak English, while the Taiwanese chads speak perfect English. What are your experiences with Chinese students Zig Forums?

Not really students. But I used to work as doorman in a residential building and the Chinese guys were pure luls, most of them didn't knew Portuguese or faked that they didn't knew to break the building rules.

>while the Taiwanese chads speak perfect English
Reminds me of walking in to random Family Marts/7-Elevens in Taipei and the person behind the counter spoke fluent American accented English. God I love our allies

Never had to interact with a chink, hope I never will.

They truly are chads. They also hate mainlanders

They fucking cheat at everything. And they're great at it.

I have mainland Chinese international friends.
I think people just assume the good ones are Taiwanese and the bad ones are mainland.

Why would mainlanders ever want to talk to you? The fuck are you? An american who is gonna work 9-5? They are there to study, and when they graduate they comeback to China in order become $30k a month employees with help of their parents who have sent them over to the US in the first place

Exactly the same. They all have a lot of money and wear very flashy clothes and drive exotic cars recklessly and treat their apartments like opium dens. I met some cool ones but most of them don’t mingle with foreigners. I liked students from Japan, Korea, and Singapore the most.

Yeah, there was one cool guy I met at a restaurant who was talking to me about how he was studying electrical engineering, but he really wanted to get into investing and starting his own business. He did a little of that on the side and was making like 2k a month or something.

Only time I saw an actual Chink was in a Yakisoba store.
The Chink was an old man and he had a Mao Zedong painting in his store

Yup. Lot of people mixup the various Chinese.

I think 99% of Chinese University students here are just bribed in because they are the biggest retards you will ever meet.

How do they study if they dont speak engrish? How did they get in in the first place?

I must imagine it must be worse in your country.

There's a lot of cheating that goes on IN US schools with Chinese students. I imagine they know enough English to read it ok, but they're speech is really broken usually

nice try chang
all chinks are the same

Can't say anything about students, but Chinese restaraunt owners are cool.

Also I once helped Japanese student to find a toilet (we both spoke very broken English) and he thank me with a very deep bow, that was surprising.

i have never seen an asian person in real life

you must live in a midwest state

yes

Chinese students still invade midwest universities though

my philosophy professor also got his degree from a midwest uni back in the 80s
i wonder what would have been the experience

Korean students are fun because the always want to go eat out :P

I thought you said "he thanked me with a very deep blow" and was very confused.

A few years ago i did half a semester of study up in Auckland where most of our Chinese migrants live.

I remember mostly that they never sat with anyone who wasn't also Chinese and didn't try to socialise with people who weren't Chinese. When I did speak to any their English wasn't that good (but I had no way of knowing if they were practicing or just didn't give a fuck about getting better) and it was always a bit awkward. They weren't cunts, they just didn't give you the impression they were trying to integrate at all.

What did irritate me was the sheer number who would do all of the above but would pull up to campus in a brand new BMW or Mercedes. Rich kids living off daddy's money irritate me. Even if they're studying hard it could still be pretty galling. I was walking 40+ minutes one way down a country road in the morning to get into town/campus at the time.

On some level I know it's stupid and obviously not the whole story but mix all of that together and it's not the greatest impression. Rich kids who dgaf about learning the language or picking up a few elements of the culture, don't mingle with any non-Chinese and either act nervous or arrogant around you. It's no wonder cunts have a lot of negative shit to say, the confirmation bias is real.

get a fucking bike

My university had them pull up in ferraris and lambos. Skinny, ugly or fat cunts that I use to TA and they were probably the dumbest, most materialistic people with an obsession for shopping.

Most will sell their cars afterwards since they aren't allowed to stay without a greencard. By and large though chinese students are collectively the ugliest, worse mannered, least integrated, weirdest group I've encountered. Koreans are chill and normies, taiwanese are alright. I can understand why everyone, and I mean everyone basically hates mainland Chinese.

I go to the university with the highest amount of Chinese international students in the usa. Yep they all love to cheat, they're very very materialistic. They're obsessed with shit like face and appearance. Some have been quite nice to me however, but in my opinion the minority, not the majority, are nice and humble people. Most are rich, and quite stupid for anything that isn't related to academics. Lots drive expensive foreign cars like Maseratis and ferraris just to flex. Ofc many of them are also weaboo geeks, there were more than a few expensive cars filled with waifu decals from their favorite animes. Many of them only speak to chinese people and have absolutely terrible English. Some of them are like totally autistic nerdy study machines that dedicate 100% of their life to academics. Even the autistic study machines loved to cheat, it just seemed a part of their culture. Many of them seemed to have no interests beyond studying and flexing their expensive bullshit.

Theyre reading and listenting skills seem to be quite perfect, just their speaking is often very shit.

>I go to the university with the highest amount of Chinese international students in the usa
davis?

which uni? UCI? USC?

You've never set foot on campus, Zig Forumstard.

Most exchange programs have people going to the other country to take language classes, often taught in their native language, and culture classes. I imagine they go there and are taking english classes in chinese and classes where they teach them about mcdonalds and other USA culture.

Yeah, it's fucking weird. Have a friend from Hanoi and he's a great dude to hang out with. While there are nice Chinese peeps, they often like keeping to their groups, which is weird as fuck considering it isn't fucking highschool.
