What are young people and their beliefs like in your country?
In the UK, it seems every young person these days is just a literal unironic communist. I've discovered this past two weeks most of my peers in this country seem to be swallowing marxism whole and advocating for "violent revolution" despite the fact we live in a country without fucking guns. I fear so bad for the future of this country

I'm 22 and it seems everyone around my age is off the wall far-left. I thought I was left leaning but idk anymore. For example I don't think children should be able to transition genders but if I said that out loud I'd probably be 'canceled'. I genuinely have no hope no for the youth of this country, they are far too ideologically motivated and dogmatic. Basically religious zealots but political instead.

Yeah no fucking shit. Even if you think full on communism is too far, it's pretty damn obvious the west in general and UK/USA in particular are too far to the right fiscally. The lack of spending on necessities and tax cuts on the ultra-rich is helping a small few but genuinely damaging society and this has to be reversed.

It's always that way. They're young, they're coddled, they've never been exposed to the real world. All their views are spoon-fed to them by other people. You can blame helicopter-parenting. This is why you don't get the protests in the poorer countries.
On the plus side it's a self-correcting problem. The more immigrants we get, the more the young will be exposed to them, so the more they'll dislike them. The more they mess up the economy, the harder it'll be to make ends meet, and then people will get conservative again.

The people you're hanging out with are too harsh yeah. I'd say I'm quite far left, and I'd even go as far to say I think children should be able to transition, but I think the view that they shouldn't isn't necessarily unreasonable or transphobic. There's clearly a difference between a concern of causing permanent physical effects based on the decision of a child, and an aggressively transphobic parent stopping their son playing with dolls and wearing their hair long.
That's par the course for Germans.

Most people don't care and lean towards whatever is popular/more talked about at the moment, the rest is a mix of different types of dickheads with various flavors of extremist views. The latter group is more common around universities and events/congregations that attracts pseudos, communists and libertarians having the biggest numbers.
