what a shit propaganda film its like 90% talking.also unrelated question but everyone who does finnish conscription is a reservist right? how many weeks a year do you guys do reserve duty?

I served in the army before the migrant crisis and the piccolo case happened, so my morale was already fairly high. But i resigned from reserve in like 2017 and i would never ever spend a day in Finnish army, because this country is past beyond saving.

Damn. Hard to believe it's so hard to get recruits there. Every year here there's far, far too many young men who want to serve their conscription so the armed forces get to pick and choose and tons don't make the cut. 20/20 vision, 190cm tall, no illnesses or mental problems etc. becomes the bare necessities. It's easy for them only to pick the best when there's too many that want to serve voluntarily.

It's random. My dad for example never got a letter for reserve training, but i got mine one year after conscription ended. So we played our little wargames for a week in middle of nowhere and got a hefty sum for it. It really depends on what you were specialized during conscription, but on average it's probably only like once every 5-10 years

Conscription is mandatory here, so you really only have 4 choices:
1. Bite the bullet and serve for 6-12 months
2. Refuse and spend 12 months in civil service
3. Be mentally ill or a lunatic and get exemption
4. Go to prison for 173 days

Around 67% of Finnish men choose the first one, but it's going down every year.

were you both infantry? its the same here many roles have no reserve but its usually non combat shit like. infantry you do ~2 weeks a year until you're 40 and it changes depending on your role.
i know a guy who is a combat pilot reservist and he's basically doing a week in the army every month but those are are officers not regulars, officers do reserve until 45.

It's mandatory here as well, but only if your number is drawn.
But despite that 99% of young men volunteer, even though they aren't required to. That means there's not enough space for conscripts and they have to turn people down who want to serve.

I just recently visited my original home town in central Finland, which was top comfy in late 90s/early 00s. Now every other face i see on street is some brown motherfucker and nobody is having kids there anymore (except muslims), so schools are closing down. Small towns/cities are slowly dying because of this and people are moving in mass to Helsinki and other big cities.
It's probably the same for most western countries, but i've given up on this country and the residents. Finland has no future. Finns have began to hate themselves and wish brown/black people would replace them. If you don't support this, then you are labeled as a racist and you will lose your job and reputation.
