How americanized is your country?

very americanized

we are america-lite

no del todo amigo

badly

This is the most Americanized country in the world. We got retards who sometimes forget we're not America.

I sometimes forget you aren't America.

Too little.

what's the difference

We are part of the west, so yes

Australians are just as Americanized as us. It's just not as obvious at first because they have a very different accent

No, we're definitely more Americanized. Our favourite sports alone should be an indicator.

1) Canada is more bilingual with French/English
2) Canada has a parliament system I think? Its different.
3) Canada has provinces, USA has states
4) Canada has free healthcare for everyone, USA has free healthcare for poorfags and elderly only (and soon to include black people, pic related)
5) A FUCKING LEAF
6) The Queen (of England, no joke) has ultimate veto on all Canadian laws
7) Canada is way more rural

We're slightly more civilized than Americans. Our healthcare system is a bit fairer, we are less violent, our social problems aren't quite as bad. We also have less African and Hispanic influence in our society.

>Canada is more bilingual with French/English

Official bilingualism is a bit of a joke, that was only done to placate our butthurt French minority. America is arguably a more bilingual country in practice because of all the Mexicans and other centrals.

>slightly more civilized
>contributes nothing to civilization

But all signs/products have to be in English/French right?

In USA that doesnt happen as often outside of very bilingual areas. Its not as universal as it is in Canada.

Over 50 yo boomers: not very
Under 30yo zoomzooms: extremely

Yeah, those rules were put in place to pander to the frogs, but they have no practical use as no one actually speaks French outside of southern Quebec and New Brunswick (a tiny province on the Quebec border that has less people than a mid-sized city).

>In USA that doesnt happen as often outside of very bilingual areas. Its not as universal as it is in Canada.

The fact that it happens at all says a lot about the US. Our language rules serve no practical use and had to be forced on us by government for political reasons. Spanish signs in the US have happened organically. Spanish is a big deal in huge swaths of the US, and it's going to keep spreading. Meanwhile there is zero chance whatsoever that use of the French language will ever spread from one relatively small region.

Very

absolute cope, its not even close

>Canada is more bilingual with French/English
that's a meme. nobody here speaks french except for a tiny minority of assholes that no one likes who have complete control over our government, and we all have to give them sacrificial offerings to appease them lest they unleash their wrath
>Canada has free healthcare for everyone
we have free *shit* healthcare for everyone.

dunno, i think they're getting mexicanized

just wait 50 years until we trademark everything good about mexican culture and then export it back to Mexico as American culture.

Depends on which part of the population you look, the poor have little American cultural influence (most foreign influence comes from other Latino countries and to a smaller degree Asia), the upper middle class and the rich have quite a lot (especially millennials and zoomers)

I think it’s time to leave. I actually realized today that 99% of this board is just cringe obsession with Americans. It is pretty fucking gay.

So Americanized we had a BLM aka fuck cops aka we're anarchists aka fuck white people demonstration

They're both more American and more British than us.

Is it mostly Portuguese people or Angolans/Mozambiquans?

It all depends where you go really. The closest to San Juan the more americanized. But considering we have been part of the US for 122 years I would say we aren't fully americanized, kinda similar to any other real nation out there who adopted certain american things and kept others.

I'd say 80% from our former colonies (Africans) and the rest Portuguese. Mind you that this took place in Lisbon which had an abnormally spike in covid cases, but out far-left government didn't give a shit.

its anti-americanized we hate amerimutts and have 100% victory rate against them

>Having a major political figure low key be American
