Is it Emperor?

yes, they added dalmatia finally, u can form both italy and croatia with it

Still can't decide my first game. Was thinking about papal state, but I can't play anything that isn't monarchy, sadly.

do burgundy, u can form new stuff with it now i believe
or try bavaria, their ideas are pretty strong

I'll check those 2 out, thanks.

Last time I played this game you'd always get rebels and fucking die if your ruler had shit stats

I'm trying to reform the slavic fate and the unite the slavic union as poland, kinda fun.
I had to abandon my try to reclaim zoroastrianism and make back the Persian empire it's so fucking hard

i like eu4, i learned lots from it and trying to get the achievements is really fun

I was trying my first world conquest as the mughal but the patch come at the same time...

>reform the slavic fate
I did it multiple times. My starts in Charlemagne for that are Pomerania, Moravia or Lesser Poland.

Nice, do you have some screenshots?

(Pomerania being the easiest of them)

Sorry, not really. Never took them. But your tactic as Pomerania would be to subjugate that holy site in Poland, then subjugate all Pomeranian lands through the ambition and marry your one son to the duchess of Kiev.
Your biggest issue is defending her against Magyars.
Lesser Poland has a similar tactic.
Moravia is more tricky, but it is fun. You immediately subjugate Avars and then spend some 20-30 years imprisoning-expropriating their nobility whenever they plot against you (you know the notification)

Come to think of it, with border war and such cbs, perhaps subjugate Kiev, border war for the holy site in Poland and you're halfway there

Yeah and one more thing capturing Birlad from the Bulgars, which you might need for authority, is always a bit tricky.

For now I did a similar strat but based on greater Poland, I just conquest Poland as quick as possible, then subjugate most of pomeranian, stole bohemia from greater moravia and destroy took most of Lithuanian duchies to from the wendish empire to get claim and stability.
Now I will try to attack the kingdom of russ and take most of my religious holy site.
Now I don't have a lot of issues for external enemies with my vassal call to arm being 20k strong, I'm just gonna snowball.

You're in a very strong position, then, good luck.
My strategies were for the quickest reformation. I usually only have a kingdom and a half by the time I reform (second or third ruler).

ck2?

Oh, and which tenets of the faith will you choose?
I would take
>Unyielding-Perun-Ancestors-?
Ancestor Veneration looks like something that would make it easy for me to gather my titles.

Ye

I don't really know yet, I want the 3 empress and the sacrifices achievement so it might be bloodthirsty god and Fanatic clans, I didn't do reformation since holy fury came out

Yeah, me either. But I was planning. I figured these would be the most appropriate to the religion while making sense from a gameplay perspective.
Anyway, good luck, have fun.

Thanks, you too.

these games are chinese propaganda to promote separatism in europe

I thought it was coming out tomorrow?

The future is now, old man

Shit. I was going to play xenoblade and monster hunter but I guess it's back to the quality idea group for me. Can't wait to play all the new OPMs.
