It's common to set small road-side memorials for people who died in car accidents in you're a cunt?

Yeah. Always found it weird and creepy.

yes

Yes

Yes

Yes but people usually take it too far and leave like a hundred flowers and crosses.

here it's common to build little houses and burn candles inside

Only flower

Yes very

Yes, mostly some flowers, candles a picture and maybe a few stuffed animals.
Mostly for younger people, like kids or early 20s at most.

Usually gone after a year, but there was one place where for like 10 years they kept putting new flowers. It was for a 16y/o girl who killed herself by jumping in front of a lorry on the highway.

This. I always wonder if those obnoxious displays become a distraction for people driving and cause further accidents.

Standard cross, and sometimes regular flowers.

I think it's cool. I'd like markers for where people died in public.

You would think that if there was an afterlife the dead wouldn't enjoy seeing flowers and fucking teddy bears at the place they met their ultimate demise in excrutiating pain or terror.

it's for the living not the dead, the dead are dead, they have not and want not

wouldn't you feel scared to drive in a place like pic?

Why can't people drive?

How do you think Jesus will react when he returns and sees everyone with crosses around their neck and everywhere else?

In my state the memorials were causing even more accidents so the state banned them and now if you want you can call and they'll put this sign up for you for free.

why did you create this thread?
is there a new road ghost video?

SÍ.

He would be glad to see that we remember his sacrifice for our souls.

yes
theres a spray painted white bike on the highway i regularly drive that has to have been there for years now
its really grim i wish someone would take it down
yeah I know its there to remind drivers to watch out for bikers but its utterly ridiculous why bikers would be allowed on this highway to begin with. its not any different from any other interstate freeway where bikes are banned from entering

Same in South Dakota

What looks like a bus stop is actually a memorial, and what looks like a multicoloured mass bigger than 5 cars are all the plushies gifted to the dead girl.

this is soulful, in america they put up condescending signs and shit just rubs me the wrong way

wtf, she was some kind of child celebrity?

jesus didn't care about how people looked only how they treated each other, he can't read minds you know

I've seen some people put birdhouses as a memorial.

That's a lot of plushies

Yes, happened to someone in my high school

No, because of an urban legend it became popular for people to pilgrimage there and ask for the granting of favours.

cringe, just needs add for mcdonalds

it's cute but some people take it too seriously

they do this when someone gets killed, but ive never seen it for a carcrash or something peaceful like that.

Sometimes people who dies in tragic ways like this one (motorcycle crash) are considered blessed, so people go there asking favours and give things in return. Usually a plaque with "Gracias por favor concedido" is putted near the animita, but in this case they're plushies.
Pic related is another famous animita

Yes.

I've never heard of this, thanks
does this pratice comes from some indigenous one or is something relatively new?
