>In power for 15 years
>1/4 of the vote
What's the point of even holding elections if the same shitty party wins every time?
German "democracy"

So ZOG can hoax the rest of the world how effective democrazy is.
Coalitions, user. They exist so that we can have more than two parties.
democracy is a liberal capitalist lie in every country, its simply the illusion of freedom and choice
>tf
>tp
checks out
Germany has more democracy than America.
Same in every democracy.
you can choose to have boiled eggs for breakfast every single day, but that doesn't imply you would be okay with being forced to have boiled eggs every single day
Your country of all countries should know that there's very little difference
Chad Presidencial system vs Virgin Parlamentary system
The CDU has been the biggest party for a while, so they can effectively choose the prime minister and the party is largely supportive of Merkel. If they loose votes someone else will replace her but so far the boomers are keeping her in power.
Also this
meanwhile in the US
virgin multi-party parliamentary system vs CHAD ONE-PARTY POPULIST PSEUDO-DICTATORSHIP
At least we have a choice, Pim
Eggs are just too good to give up
a choice in what? A blue McPresident or a red McPresident? Fuck off
american having problem understanding there can be more then 2 parties
hehe
Representational democracy is the only way to more fairly represent all parts of the country whom might have different needs than population centers without pure mob rule. Our Congress is based on direct democracy however and Congress arguably can have more power than the president
Also as far as the two party system goes, there are actually hundreds of political parties but the only reason you only see two of them is because it's easier for smaller parties to get elections if they put their electoral tickets towards Democrat or Republican. In this sense the parties actually don't matter so much as how individuals can influence the party
Ok...
The point is those 509 other seats.
Germans are morally stunted as a rule and have never quite 'got' democracy
what even is the point you're trying to make? Your post is just empty words.
We have consistent party positions. Also, holy shit, what a terrible venn diagram.
>Total support for Israel
Republicans support settlements whereas more Democrats do not
>Do Wall Street's bidding
Democrats tend to be more skeptical of Wall Street and will often pass laws based on Keynesian principles
>Unlimited military spending
Democrats tend to spend less on the military than Republicans
>Hostility to Russia, Iran, and China
Democrats tend to be more hostile towards Russia while Republicans tend to support Russia more and is usually hostile towards Iran and China.
>Full-spectrum dominance
Big-tent politics
>Let money rule politics
Again, democrats tend to do this less
>Neoliberalism rocks
Most Republicans prefer neoconservatism and some Democrats like social democracy
>Spy on everyone
There are libertarian caucuses within parties (usually the Republican Party)
>Screw the poor and old
Democrats like the poor. Republicans like the old.
>Oligarchy, not democracy
Not a party position, and leaders of both parties tend to be anti-oligarch populists
>Vive US imperialism
The President is going to leave Afghanistan
>Outlaw 3rd parties
No one is trying to do this
>Crush the left
Democrats have let AOC in their party
>Regime change is cool
Only in Venezuela
Your electoral college makes it possible to lose an election between you and another party and still win so shut the fuck up you retarded mutt.
>The presidential election is the only election
>inb4 Euros think it's the only one that matters
Congress has far more influence on domestic policy than the president does. The president just has more control over foreign policy
dont you have a pandemic to die to?
Nigga you have d'hondt method also like many other. In the EU most MEPs per capita has small cunts like Malta. If we would use popular vote no one would care about smaller regions.
A choice between 2 candidates. We can choose between a number of different parties and when the old ones all suck a new one can come along to take over.
No because America is not even close to having the highest mortality rate per capita despite having the highest overall cases.
how the fuck does monarchy LARPing democracy end up being more democratic than republicanism
hold on, are you trying to tell me that the party that got 27% of the votes in a legislative election................ got 27% of the seats on the legislative body??????
oh how the mighty have fallen
Are you guys seriously that ignorant how the election process works in your own countries? You probably have constituencies these matter and the number of MPs. A party might get less votes overall but more Mps. You niggas are so americanized dont know how your own election process works
I support a federal europe and i honestly dont care how Merkel gets into office.
I wish she'd built her reputation on a blood toll, preferably east G*rmans.
Faggots like you are so out of touch with real world politics and needs of the people its hillarious.
>B-but X party does Y to a lesser degree!!!!
Jesus christ shut the fuck up fucking mutt. The problem is not that there are no slight symbolic differences in the degree to which parties support israel, let money rule politics, etc. the problem is that there is no choice to NOT support israel, to NOT let money rule politics. When the two parties in a de facto two party system agree to the same premisses (but slightly differ in the way they support said premisses), you're really no better than a one party system. To put it in terms your lard ass can understand: in a true democracy you are not forced to choose between just "apple pie" and "apple pie with whipped cream", there should be an option to choose for chocolate cake too, and strawberry cake, etc.
>inb4 muh third parties
Due to the first past the post system third parties are effectively barred from the electoral political system. The fact that such a large number of parties are collectively refered to as "third parties" (as opposed to just "other political parties") should be a testiment to how seriously they are taken.
I disagree with your absolutist assertions
America isn't democratic either.
Wtf youre talking about? I just said most countries use proprtional representation same as the US. You might win the popular vote but loose the elections.
I always thought we had a law against more than three periods as chancellor but apparently not
seethe
>our current president won the vote with 47%
