Does your country have enforced conscripted military service?

For us, no, but we should.

Luckily no

Conscription doesnt work on the scale of our country

Conscription would never work in current day niggermerica

user think of all the retards you went to HS with. Would you want any one of them to serve with you?

No
We have the Army Cadets though which I believe should be mandatory for all UK youth

If the average citizen served in the military, rather than volunteering retards, our politicians would have a harder time getting away with our forever wars and the military industrial complex. It would also hopefully stop the emasculation of American men and give people a sense of community and responsiblity that they desperately need.

bootlickers

no, conscription was suspended in 2011

Israeli women are conscripted to keep them fit for propaganda

Yes. You can choose between going to the military for six months or doing civil service for 9 months (which means working as a paramedic at the ambulance, or at a retirement home, stuff like that).

It was abolished just before i was supposed to do it, but I wish i did desu, would have done something with my like instead of neeting around

This is also an important point. Zoomers and millennials don't have life skills that conscripted military service could teach them.

I worked in civil service as a paramedic for 9 months, did two (unsuccessful) reanimations, saw a couple of dead people and some other ugly shit at 18 years old and now, 6 years later, I am still a complete fucking looser. The Internet ruined me nonetheless.

military doesn't teach you anything valuable in civilian life, especially not if you only do it for a year or so

My dad did it and he told me it was just fucking around with FAMAS and learning how to obey your superiors and that it was kida fun
civil service is unironically harder that military service

For me, it's Ι5

Yes they brought it back when Trump got elected because of fears that he wouldn't bully rusia monky enough.

Except it does when it specializes you for jobs. Im being specialized in radio maintenance and they say there’s really good job prospects for it because i have top secret clearence which is valuable to companies like cell providers and the likes

That's why it won't happen LMAO

only shitholes stuck in 20th century have that

This. The American military is actually just a huge career training program. That's why employers make such a big deal about hiring veterans. It's less about "honoring the troops" and more about hiring someone that already has skills and has discipline and a strong work ethic.

if you're in the US military you have probably enlisted for 4 years or more
conscripts usually serve for a year or so, training them properly isn't worth it

No. When you become 17 years old you receive a letter that you can be drafted at any time from the age of 17 to 45. But you don't have to appear yet.

Are you sixteen

No, but I'm sure that you are.

In theory the government could basically just call on anyone they want. But they stopped doing that after the cold war.

Okay buddy

Yeah I heard it's the same thing in our military. I mean with civil service you can make it really easy on yourself by choosing organisations that most likely provide for easy jobs. But I thought working as a medic would be the manliest thing to do and get me girls. In the end it just stressed me the fuck out because there was the constant possibility of being sent out to some fucked up shit and I was always afraid of fucking something up and getting yelled at. I know I sound like a pussy but I think later in life the whole experience made me withdraw more from life since I kind of got scared of difficulties and challenges. But maybe I'm just using it as an excuse. Sorry for the blog post.
