He did, the article mentions it.
If he didn't he would have probably been kicked out.

I actually went on reddit to find the article:
>""The bill is technically an explanation of charges, and because Flor has insurance including Medicare, he won’t have to pay the vast majority of it. In fact because he had COVID-19, and not a different disease, he might not have to pay anything"
It seems the american healthcare system is not nearly as bad as it's portrayed to be

Reddit is fucking retarded. Most medicare bills are just bullshit, pharmacies are happy enough if you pay 1% of it
Also retards dont like to admit it but in the US you have to pay almost no taxes

Not nearly as bad if you don't mind the taxpayer money going into private pockets for no valid reason.

No I actually do not desu

>you have to pay almost no taxes.
Holy fuck, you have to be kidding me, guess why the republican populism is so popular around the uneducated American lower class? Taxes are incredibly high in the US, the only difference is they all get spent on the military and the rich pay nothing through loop holes and government ass kissing.

Based oligarch enabler.

Depends on where you live in the states desu

>OMG american healthcare is SOOOOO fucked!!!!

Well I'm not sure what you are talking about exactly, but no i don't see the issue. The money gets back into the economy and gets spent. "private pockets" are taxpayers too, I don't see many valid reasons to condemn this situation over money going towards public spending

Yeah maybe compared to your 60% rate anything above 40k euros.

The average income tax in US is around 35%.

>60% rate anything above 40k euros.
40k euros isn't even a particularly high salary, right?

>around 35%
Ah so that's 'almost nothing' in murican 'maths' then.

Oh of course, but you don’t see Californians shitting on their taxes as much as Southern rednecks.

...

Americans spend more money per capita on public health care as well. Their system is just a scam no matter what perspective you approach it from.

Based belgian retard itt
ofc it's a flemish

>The average income tax in US is around 35%.
It's not nearly that high
It's closer to 15%-20% for individuals
And several states have no income tax at all

The state gets its due no matter how it's shuffled.

but who cares about income tax? Let’s talk about all taxes combined.

Do the Sam Hyde technique

DUDE, 1.1. MILLION DOLLARS? I GOT THESE PILLS DUDE

From Google

It's not even a question of insurance. How could a basic treatment cost more than 1 000 000 fucking $ ?

>Americans say they have 'low taxes'
>Literally only talking about income tax only

Holy shit, do Americans really?

Extremely high salaries, even the lowest tier of doctor specialty makes $200k

Yes we do desu

Now do payroll and property tax.
Oh boy, you can see that stacking up high, I bet they are put to good use, right?
Do you support free college tuition and medicare for all, user?

So Alaska is most progressive since sales tax is regressive and fucks the poor and small businesses?

americans get paid way more than us brits and they get taxed less also our houses are tiny and shit.

Americans never leave a hospital without living a tip or thier tip

Our taxes are far too high, I don't want 15% of my check being taken away. I wouldn't be happy with 5%.

There's a whole plethora of other taxes still, not to mention the costs of basic services not provided by the government in the U.S. I work in IT so working and living in the U.S is an option that is often discussed, and when talking about big cities in the U.S like California it's monetarily not worth unless you're offered well over 200 000$/a when all things are accounted for. Smaller places like Atlanta are appealing, but only as a bachelor to make money. Marriage and kids and your costs in the U.S start ballooning fast.

Those are the older generations, younger Americans get assblasted thanks to college, getting sick and looking for a place to live.
