>rocket
>and the home of the brave

learn from youtube

i know the melody and that's about it.

why did it take slavic BVLLS to make an actualy good rendition of the us anthem.
all other renditions sound like bad church songs

I only know:
O say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner, O long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country, should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

When our land is illumined with Liberty's smile,
If a foe from within strike a blow at her glory,
Down, down with the traitor that dares to defile
The flag of her stars and the page of her story!
By the millions unchained, who our birthright have gained,
We will keep her bright blazon forever unstained!
And the Star-Spangled Banner in triumph shall wave
While the land of the free is the home of the brave.

O thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war's desolation.
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the Heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: 'In God is our trust.'
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Why were you watching YouTube videos of the American anthem?

United forever in friendship and labour,
Our mighty republics will ever endure.
The Great Soviet Union will live through the ages.
The dream of a people their fortress secure.

Long live our Soviet motherland,
Built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

Through days dark and stormy where Great Lenin lead us
Our eyes saw the bright sun of freedom above
And Stalin our leader with faith in the people,
Inspired us to build up the land that we love.

Long live our Soviet motherland,
Built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

We fought for the future, destroyed the invaders,
And brought to our homeland the laurels of fame.
Our glory will live in the memory of nations
And all generations will honour her name.

Long live our Soviet motherland,
Built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

I love it

cringe

when the union's inspiration through the worker's blood shall run
there can be no power greater beneath the sun
yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one
but the union makes us strong

American anthem is unironically one of the only good ones apart from the soviet one. All other national anthems just sound weird and uninspired. Not as grandiose as the russian and american chads

What's your home country bro

Was going to post this kino american song

Dumb Yank, have you never heard la marseillaise? Literally the manliest anthem around
East German anthem is also good, and I'm not even a commie fag

Just the OH CAN YOU SEE part.

another beautiful one

thank you American friend

Hong Kong and I know it's probably gone forever, the land that I grew up on has disappeared. I have no root now.

I’ve heard both. Not worth getting so argumentative about though

It saddens me that we couldn't help Hong Kong since a lot of the people seem to share a lot of our ideals. We need more people like that and not collectivists who just want to change the country.

Come to America and you can experience nice things like this youtu.be/FuPeGPwGKe8?t=106

The mcdonaldsss was still there

Oh say can you see
What so proudly we hail

Oh say does that star spanked banner still wave
Over the land of the free and the home of the broad

I don’t even remember. Probably back in Boy Scouts back when it wasn’t retarded.

I do remember learning O Canada in high school cross country since me and my teammates would scream it at the top of our lungs at the starting line just to be annoying shits
