I have never left Europe
Kek, I hope the tourism industry never really recovers from the pandemic. What will all the wanderlust/yoga/tinder/wine/live/laugh/love thots do now?
I have never left the continent of the British isles.
Yes.
I was 2 months in Japan, 1+ year in Italy, 6 months in China, 1 month in Kazahstan, 1 month in South Africa and 7 months in Brazil. I also visited most of countries in western Europe.
Yeah, in my life I've spent 6 months living in China, 3 months travel in Japan, 2 weeks travel in Indonesia, 8 months in South America and 9 months in Europe. I liked literally everywhere I've been, but loved a few places. They're all different to Australia but in the end, people are people and to me it never feels like I'm on another planet or anything.
Australia was boring
furthest north is Netherlands
furthest east is Austria
furthest south is Spain
Never went west, means I would have to visit Britbongs
Never been outside of my Spanish region except for five years spent in the city of Madrid.
Visited Mexico, Guatemala, Belize. All beautiful, lots to see and do between Mayan to Colonial architecture, beautiful and varied natural landscapes and a gastronomy that's simply to die for.
Germany was nice, though I didn't have enough time there. Everything was clean and orderly except the gypsies in the street. Seeing buses and trains being implemented in such an efficient fashion was astounding. Made me hate American car culture which is loud, dirty, obnoxious and inefficient.
Egypt is a world apart, very dirty but everything is very cheap, and there's history all along the Nile from Cairo to Luxor. Cairo also has incredible museums, tombs to visit and massive open air markets mixed with restaurant stalls that you'd never see in America. Very interesting set up. Additionally, I was trained how to scuba dive at a resort on the Red Sea. Very capable trainers, Egypt produces fine men and damned good falafel. Was surprised to see tea culture was such a big thing, never associated it with Egypt.
Thailand is massive, I just went to Bangkok and three nights was still nowhere near enough time to see all the stuff. Ancient temples in the city center are cheap to visit and the food stands in Thailand are a world apart, best variety and highest quality street food I've ever had. It was greasy as all hell, but lick me twice if it wasn't some of the best damned food I'd ever had. I'll never forget this one stand by the hotel had these thick, juicy pork skewers. I must've gone back there a dozen times when I stayed last. I think they're polarized between Western culture and appealing to their increasingly relevant neighbor to the North. When I was there though, it felt like the country leaned towards China, but I got laid so I can't complain.
Indonesia is my favorite destination though, I've visited Maumere and Bali and they're the best scuba diving spots I've seen. It's its own world.

Seeing anti-travel memes made by the financially retarded always makes me kek

>t. automation engineer
Yes Europe, Africa, the pacific
always feels great coming back home though because every country works significantly worse than here and is dirtier and the people don't queue properly
Were you able to manage fine in all those places with English alone, or do you speak any other language?
I have gone to Portugal, Gibraltar, Andorra, Spain, France, Monaco, Italy and Switzerland
Did you like working and living in South Africa as much as i did?
>t. solar panel expert who lived 3 months in Capetown
US: really nice people, lots of extremely obese people, lots of homeless people
Thailand: just in resort, it was ok
Turkey: shithole and turks are really annyoing
Nope, i was in some small town near Johannesburg. Not enough things to do. Didnt like white-black separation, it felt bit tense.
Brazil was great, I just returned. If it wasnt for corona it would have been complete paradise.
I was in Tokyo for two months , that was also amazing, I could explore that city for years and still find something. Japanese are not really easy to meet, though.
>Didnt like white-black separation
Yeah that sucked, i invited like a dozen contractors for a barbecue before i left. Black and white alike and it went well but the mood was tense at first because thats apparently not something you do. I would advice you Singapore if you liked Tokyo allot. Its really great and incredible coming from Europe to see a city state thats literally a Ant Colony with all their underground malls and subway stations covering nearly 3/4 of the country
Yeah, you much different than Brazil. Brazil is basically one big race mix. Division is mostly between rich and poor, but often rich people are more white and poor people are more black.
I hope to visit Singapore, but probably my work wont take me there. Corona delayed projects, I know I might go to USA, Uzbekistan, Russia next. I hope for Uzbek kek, I like very exotic places.
>Uzbekistan, Russia
Talk about exotic locations haha, hope pay is good and that you stay safe.
da fuck u been doing in my shithole
Pay is good, I can buy an apartment now, not even working for 3 years. Staying safe is important, damn you stick out as white guy in 3rd world countries.
T. every chinese wanted photo with us
Never left my country, i'm too poor to travel
My job. I was in Karagandy, and had only one free day when we went to visit Astana or Nur-Sultan. It looked like you're going full sheikh style and building Dubai in steppe

I've been to SEA several times. Mostly for sex sex sex
I have been to Europe, specifically Croatia, Slovenia and Austria. They were nice. I would definitely like to go back and explore a bit more of Europe at a later date.
I haven't traveled all that much, I have so many countries I want to visit still.
Been to the UK, Spain, California, Mexico and Japan.
I have a BF from Manchester UK so I go there a lot, it's nice there, pretty fun atmosphere, feels like there's a British soap opera happening on every street, I've also come to like the food.
I've been to Spain twice, each time for 2 weeks, first was Torremolinos with friends, lots of sunbathing and clubbing.
Second time in Spain was in Menorca, at some tourist apartment resort my BF's mom invited us to, all you can eat buffets, all you can drink beer, swimming pool etc, but not much to do otherwise.
I have family in California so I've spent about a year there total over the course of 3 trips, two were in the San Francisco bay area which was nice, beautiful place.
3rd time I started by going to Las Vegas for a week for a video game tournament I was competing in, then I made my way to Fresno to spend 4 months with family there, Fresno isn't a very nice place desu.
I went to Mexico as a kid, don't remember much except for hot sand, mosquito bites and a mean kid at a pool.
I visited Tokyo for 2 weeks last August, this was a great trip and an excellent experience, great people, great food, lots to see, I had planned on leaving Tokyo to see other places but Tokyo was plenty for 2 weeks, our hotel was right by Akihabara so that's where we ended up spending a lot of our time, very interesting place.
I've never left Europe furthest I've been is the south of Italy
remember thinking wow I'm closer to Africa than Scotland right now
>Torremolinos
