>Mutual combat, a term commonly used in United States courts, occurs when two individuals intentionally and consensually engage in a fair[1] fight,[2] while not hurting bystanders or damaging property. There is not an official law that forbids mutual combat in the United States. There have been numerous cases where this concept was successfully used in defense of the accused.[3] In some cases, mutual combat may nevertheless result in killings.[4] >Police officers act as witnesses and referees.
Is mutual combat a thing in your country? Would people allow it?
>Phoenix Jones[3][4] (born Benjamin John Francis Fodor, 1988[5] in Texas) is an American real-life superhero. Initially wearing a ski mask to intervene in a public assault, Fodor later developed a full costume and adopted "Phoenix Jones" as a pseudonym. From 2011 until its dissolution in 2014, Jones was the leader of the Rain City Superhero Movement, a Seattle, Washington based citizen patrol group that described itself as a crime prevention brigade.[6][7]
What the fuck is this? America should just stop. I had enough. No more.

What? Does this depend on state? Because I recall an American kyoukushin champion talking about how he and a boxer got into an argument about karate vs boxing and got in a voluntary fight behind some diner. Someone noticed and called the cops. Cops didn't give a shit if it was voluntary from both sides. Both were arrested and had to pay fines.
Why would the state allow shit like that anyway, if it has programs like health insurance? This is the same as "freedom to not use a helmet when riding a motorcycle" question. If the state has to cover some part of your treatment in case of an accident - good luck in getting their permission.

>Why would the state allow shit like that anyway, if it has programs like health insurance? Why would the cops/the state give a fuck? The insurance probably doesn't cover stuff like willingly getting into a fight anyway.

We inherited cucked roman law shit so in case two individuals get into a physical altercation both are charged with the crime of "lesions", which must be measured by a physician and according to this dictamination both individuals must pay each others bills. If I remember correctly the one who initiated the fight has to pay 100% of the bill, and the one who defended himself pays 75% of the bill. It's bullcrap and a lose-lose situation to everyone but the instigator. As someone who gets challenged/forced into a fight your options are getting rekd or defending yourself and getting both your wallet and face rekd.
