I studied engineering in college and breezed through it because I am of above average intelligence.
Parents saw my grades and praised me by giving me a planet ticket to Japan/China (I am Chinese) every summer/winter break.
I graduated without getting internships because I was busy vacationing all the time.
When I graduated, my parents got me another plane ticket to Japan so I didn't immediately look for a job. I live with my parents so I had no pressure to find a job. They aren't forcing me to find a job because they'd rather me be a happy NEET than a depressed salaryman.
At this point I've been graduated for ~3 years now and I have no idea how to find a job. The anxiety of the interviewer outright rejecting me or asking me why I've been unemployed scares me to death so I keep putting it off.

My parents were given some money by their parents when they first moved to California so they were able to buy 2 houses and a commercial property. If they sell the extra house and commercial property, we would be rich, but they do not want to do that at the moment. Liquidity wise, we are basically working middle class.
