I head a job interview on Skype this morning and it only took like 5 minutes, 10 at max, I barely said anything and all I told them basically was that I failed at everything else and wanted their job for that reason and when they asked me if I had any questions I didn't have any either
I still can't believe how fucking retarded I am
does this happen in your country?

Did they hire you?

should've ended it with "So when do I start?"

>does this happen in your country?
no i dont even bother

No, I wouldn't be brave enough to go to a job interview.

they told me they will tell me this or next week

I did 4 hours of interviews and 2 online tests only for them to turn me down after two weeks of waiting

dis

the Indian dude at least tries to sell himself

I have only ever had 2 job interviews.
Both times I got the job.
I had to apply for probably over 400 to get the first interview though.
I just realised this probably meant I had a shitty cv or cover letter.

nice work user I'm sure you'll get the position

I never had a job interview lmao, I just had people inviting me to work due to connections

Most large businesses have software that scans your CV and resume for key phrases. Doesn't hurt to copy paste some phrases from their job posting just in case.

Congrats, youre hired!

I like being electrical engineer. Basically I get offered new positions regularly on LinkedIn , even on job interview for current basically they were trying to convince me theyre good company to work for kek.

Tips for questions in the future (these assume it’s like a salaried job and not labor or something):

1. Where do you see this department/unit/whatever in 3 to 5 years?
2. What are you looking for in a candidate?
3. Who does this role interact with?
4. How would someone in this job make your job harder or easier?

Try to be conversational about them and respond in ways that say how you match whatever they answer i.e. “The job works with a small team of 3 to 5 people...” “Great. I worked in a small team at my last job as a X. The small team allowed us to accomplish X Y Z”.

I guarantee they will respond to one or more of these questions with “Great question” and say you asked good questions.

Good luck anons.

In person interviews>video interviews>phone interviews

I havent either. I just walked to the factory and gave the boss a firm handshake

Based, honesty is a virtue user

>Don't call us
>DO NOT CALL US
>We'll call you
>next week

my best hope is that nobody else applied for the position

Good luck. Remember to learn where you made mistakes in this interview so you can try hard to not make the same ones in your next interview.

thanks m8

Next week... hehe...

>company frantically emails and calls me at the last minute asking if I can come in asap for interview
>I assume their preferred candidate dropped out and they need a replacement
>the guy showing me around basically says an idiot could do the job and he has no problems hiring me
>week later get a rejection email

lmao

oh no no no no no

congrats you're hired
