Pls help me find this painting:
There's a woman with her back turned to the viewer in the foreground. She has a summer dress and maybe a straw hat. She stands in the middle of the painting and she's in a field covered with flowers. There are many small hills with distinct rows drawn in the ground and some of these hills are filled with flowers, maybe lavender. There's a small house in the background, along with white clouds. It's night, the sky is dark and there are no stars. Maybe there are hay balls in the background.
The color is very dense and a bit dark.
It has a dreamy atmosphere.

Michelangelo was called "the divine" for a reason. He did with human flesh and musculature what Shakespeare did with the human language: he created a race of titans that humanity could only dream of being in their yearnings for perfection.

If Michelangelo were put to live alone in the moon and were given nothing but hammers, chisels, a hut to sleep in, a vegetable-garden, bread, wine, a cat for company, and a thousand years of life, he would carve so beautiful an angelic smiling face on the bumpy and pimply satellite that the sight of it would make humanity forever forget that there is something called suffering in the world.

I don't know, but the painting is fairly recent. I forgot to mention that it's vertical, not horizontal.

Everything by Bouguereau. Back when my Windows OS was activated I'd have his whole work as my desktop on slideshow.

It is hard to find good quality images of his painting. But if you are interested in German WW1 and WW2 marine painting, you'll love Claus Bergen. His work heavily influenced the movie "Das Boot".
Some of his painting were stolen by Bongs n Burgers after the war and were displayed in their war rooms, officer academies etc.
Just some few more years and all of his works will be license free.

topkek
I love that song
