Chinese aren't releasing the number of their casualties. So we don't know. Our goverment is saying that our soldiers carried firearms, in that case Chinese casualties may be higher if our soldiers opened fire, and I have reason to believe that China will still pretend that there was no firing otherwise everyone would know that they were in the wrong.

The word “Chink” itself comes from vulgar Sanskrit “चिंकी” (chinki) which was a slur for a yellow race in Ancient India whom the Ancient Indians referred to as “चीन” (Cīna), living East beyond the mountains.

In fact, the Cīnas in the Mahabharata War, fought against Krishna and Arjun, on the side of the Kauravas so this makes it even funnier.

The Mahabharata is a mythical retelling of a war that was fought in Ancient India around 800 BCE. Now the Qin wasn't there at the time but the scripture itself is dated around 200 AD so the writers writing it referred to the Chinese as Qin. In the war, God arrives as Krishna and leads one side to victory. Of course, in this war, families were split, and people killed their own kin because of their loyalty to one King or they were operating under an oath. Because of this, "brother kills brother" which happened in massive numbers, the sins culminated so much that the world entered Kali Yuga (Dark Age) which we live in now. So its a big deal of a scripture in India.
It was definitely a pan-Indian war because nearly every tribe, caste or clan in India claims some form of relation to one of the tribes or clans that fought during the war. This is also confirmed by the written scripture. The scripture also has mention of other foreign tribes, such as Sakas (Scythians), Pahlavas (Persians), Yavanas (Ionians/Greeks), and others.
