Binge drinking all week long and smoking cigarettes all the time is the norm for young people, especially now that covid restrictions loosened up but studying is still remote.
Eating sweets isn't glorified but eating other unhealthy foods such as kebabs is.
Right now I'm trying to convince my friend to stay home and play games with me instead of going out and drinking for the 9th day in a row. I do go out to drink with him every week or two, but he just can't stop. Our other friends are pestering him all the time and he gives in to peer pressure really easily. He already failed one of his exams because of it despite it being really easy, all he had to do was prepare for an hour or so.
Hopefully his health doesn't suffer like his studies did.
