Ours are from Eastern Europe. Usually Poland, Bulgaria, Romania. Sometimes they are being exploited by the farmers or the employment agency. But more often they get paid around € 12,- per hour for unskilled work.

Peruvians ourselves :^)
Venezuelans COULD but don't really like farm work
Worked on one of those huge grape farms this summer with some friends, just to gather experience. It was fucking hell on earth and you had to do overtime every single day

don't know about farms but Bucharest is full of workers from random South Asian countries which I find pretty weird because if you're going to go through all that trouble of immigrating to the EU why come to this shithole instead of the west lol

Seasonal work permits in 2019
>Ukraine: 129683
>Belarus: 659
>Moldova: 380
>Georgia: 302
>Russia: 79
Those are only the ones working in agriculture (and hotels, but that's like 5000 of them)

Ukrainians, Belarusians, maybe some Indians, Pakis

What are Poland's most important crops?

Pacific islanders

no idea honestly lol
google says the biggest ones are wheat, barley and rye but I don't know what do workers harvest specifically

I had the opportunity to meet Poles working in the Netherlands in arable fields. 60% of them are plebs who only think of marijuana, amphetamines and beer (some are recidivists). Believe me, it's hard to meet such depraved people in Poland. But also some are just students on vacation who came to earn some Euro, live in a foreign country and gain some life experience. They work for around 1000 Euro a month (in Poland they would earn 450 Euro for the same job) they sleep in fucking ugly, bungalows. For the Polish reality, 1000 Euro is not a lot of money but they still decide to do such work abroad in such tragic conditions. I heard that after 10 months of work in the Netherlands they get some social benefits maybe thats why they invading you.

Why dont natives want to do this? It's a good first job for a teenager. I bought my first car and a drivers license with the money I earned at a farm

What did you do at the farm? I agree it can be a good first job but sometimes the conditions are very bad

Nepalese, apparently.

Picking up strawberries and potatoes. I've also worked at a construction site and that sucked more

how much you earned monthly?

Eastern euros do all the undesirable jobs here

I think I'm just a little bitch, the work at the grape farm wasn't really that bad compared to harvesting strawberries and potatoes or construction

in the netherlanss a polish/romanian labour camp got shut down by government (i think) because it was like modern slavery or something

2400€ since it was a summer job didn't have to pay taxes

holy fuck. I would like to earn that money in Poland after uni and 15 years of work.

Peak unskilled labor btw especially during summer is working at a "fridge warehouse" don't know what's the english name for it. Pays really well and you can just listen to podcasts etc. Move things from a to b. It would probably get boring doing that shit for many years, but as a summer job its great

Well if you do that fulltime you're left with 1800-1900€ after taxes

In Finland, the average Net monthly salary is around 2.5k Euro?

Mexicans and mexicans and even more mexicans. We're not allowed to farm using blacks anymore.

I read this story on the news. People are heavily critical of those practices and those losers who are willing to work for them. One guy said he was working in the Netherlands because he doesn't want to be a slave of banks and want to earn on his own on for his house (idk how is he supposed to do that but ok) in general you will find the most desperate slaves in the netherlands

None, im guessing theres probablly some central americans that get some farm work on their way to the US but are more likely a tiny minority

He said construction... they usually pay a lot there. In Warsaw a construction worker earns 6500 zł per month.

Ukrainians. If it's low-wage job, it's full of Ukrainians. They are like the Eeastern Europeans of Eastern Europe.

Tax rates are personal really depends on deductibles which is a complete mess filing tax report lmao. I don't usually bother with for the most part even when I could have a little bit lower tax rate. But yeah around 2500€ sounds about right since average cross wage 3300€

>They are like the Eeastern Europeans of Eastern Europe
tru

No i mean at the farm I earned that 2400€ construction is around 2700-2800€ but it sucks a lot more than farm work

Haitians and Chileans

I worked on my vactations on the airport 50% of the staff was from Ukraine.

mexicans and central americans. You might find the rare apple from like india something, but its pretty rare now a days.

Because compared to a retail job you are paid the same or worse (pretty much min. wage) while toiling outside in the heat all day versus an air conditioned store. The people they bring in to work the fields would do it for even less than minimum wage if they had to.

People from Bolivia and Peru

Post qt negritas

Is it hard work?

I dunno. Working at a store especially at a bad neighbourhood sounds worse

Not here, they go to big cities.

A lot of future ukranian whores

Really?

Eastern European slaves

and when I mean slaves I mean actual slaves as in slave conditions and everything

A reasonable amount of backpackers for the fruit picking
Filipinos and Pacific Islanders for being farm hands

Im thinking hes based.
Better to be like a slave illegally working in west for a couple of years then wageslaving your entire life away to repay the (((bank))) a loan.
Tho 1000 euros is not a lot of money, depends on the work they do and how many hours they put in

Eastern Europeans.
I got a letter, because I am on the dole atm, requesting me to come pick fruit as there is a shortage of seasonal workers due to 'rona. I said I'd do it but they never got back to me. Really wanted that experience of bonding in the fields with the lads, would have been nice.
