Campus photos don't mean shit. What state is she currently attending school in? You'd be surprised at how diverse traditionally white states such as Massachusetts and Washington have become.

Out of all the thousands of colleges in the US, I doubt you applied to the same as her, and plus, international students have it harder to get admitted than native applicants.

Only if they don't have the money. There are more than enough rich Chinese exchange students who load up the admissions for UC's. I always figured that if you can afford to send your kid to America to study, then you can afford to pay tuition. Apparently that's not the case for everyone.

I'm sure. You know, as someone who was universally rejected from mediocre schools with an A-average for no reason other than my race/ethnicity and gender, you know how hard I find that to believe right? Affirmative action is legal in New York state; your daughter is, I assume Hispanic, and a female. That is prime grounds for a diversity enrollment, and it's one of the main reasons I never got accepted anywhere despite having the marks that should qualify me to at least get into a state school.

I mean great for your daughter, I'm sure she did fine in school, but in the end of the day I will always be salty that I can't get into uni, just as I'm salty I can't get a gf. All the achievements normal people get in life, I don't get it. I always draw the shortest straw, no matter how much I try.

And I've said it before and I'l say it again; I'm 100% sure you're capable of achieving every single one of your goals if you just work on yourself.

I'm in *community* college, which is an institution of higher education that offers 2-year classes to get associate's degrees or transfer to 4-year institutions. I've been here for 3 years and will be here another 2 because of courseload and poor academic decisions (major switches, smaller courseloads). I still plan to transfer to a 4-year college, but I'll tell you im not confident at all, especially since California is now legalizing affirmative action in the wake of the BLM protests.

I've heard that many times Punta, there are limits to what we can do in life. I can't just grow a beard tomorrow to hide my babyface, because I have poor beard genetics. I can't just unlearn my autism, I'm stuck with that forever. What irks me is when I do put in a ton of effort, like I've done with my academics, and I still get screwed because of factors I cannot control such as my race and my gender. Same thing goes for girls, I'm discriminated against because I have the face of a 10 year old. None of it is your fault, I just complain about it because that's all I can do. I can't find a single person who has had it as rough as me. The NEETs and virgins here are that way because they want to be that way. I'm a NET (hardly not a NEET), and a virgin despite not wanting to be that way.

Men are much more forgiving than women

if there's one benefit to me being angry and depressed, its that it makes me workout harder. Just did my 50 pushups, crunches, and 2 minute plank without any breaks. Perhaps I should add another workout or extend the reps. Maybe 75 pushups, 100 crunches, and 3 minute plank next time
