I miss him so much bros

>The Beloved of the Gods, Emperor of all, Ashoka thus spoke to his judicial officers:

>I wish to see that everything I consider to be proper is carried out in the right way. And I consider instructing you to be the best way of accomplishing this. I have placed you over many thousands of people that you may win the people's affection.

>All men are my children. What I desire for my own children, and I desire their welfare and happiness both in this world and the next, that I desire for all men. You do not understand to what extent I desire this, and if some of you do understand, you do not understand the full extent of my desire.

He was a chad, his father hated him for being ugly. Some claim that he killed 99 (some say 3) of his brother to take the throne. Contrary to what most people believe, he converted to buddhism very late in his life. Also, his buddhist deeds are greatly exaggerated by buddhists

literally no one cares curryniggers

he converted to Buddhism after Kalinga War. Mauryan estimates give a death toll of 220,000. That would have been catatastrophic for a king living in those times.

he converted to Buddhism because the war changed him completely.

I miss him too.

We should reinstall a Chakravarthin Samrat and get back to Imperialism.

Ashoka's grandson was killed by a Brahmin general who reimposed the caste system.

the later empires were controlled by Brahmins after the Mauryans fell and they completely shitted over their legacy with shit like pic related

The Manusmriti is a vile, vile text. Not only does it establish the caste system, it spews racial hatred against Greeks, Scythians, Dravidians, Chinese etc. Even if you’re the most devout Hindu you cannot defend it. Most liberal Hindus instead just say it was a later minor text just like Muslims say the Hadith are useless.

Tell me more from this

Interesting, where can I read this text?

There’s nothing to tell much. The Manusmriti was written around 200 BCE and was neglected at the time but later in the Gupta Empire it became The central doctrine of Hindu society.

The text itself is responsible for a lot of India’s evils.

First, it de-established the Ancient Indian method of courtship. Before this, a girl would chose from a group of men and give them a herculean task to. The most famous one was of Draupadi who’s potential husbands had to lift a iron bow weighing 10 times the weight of the average man and fire it into the fish. The man who did it became her husband. I don’t know the English word but in Sanskrit it’s called a “Svyamvar”.

Instead, the text calls women inferior and emotionally challenged and instructs men to keep them in their houses. The Manusmriti is the reason for forced marriages.

Two, there were some tribes in India in those days who were not in a good social position. They lived in forest dwellings and did work like cleaning toilets, sweeping the streets, basically poor people stuff. In the MS, these tribes are declared “not even worthy of touch of an Aryan”. Basically, untouchability.

Three, it declares the Scythians and Greeks as below Aryan. This is also the time when the Greek and Scythian influence on India declined. Although we don’t have any military accounts but likely the Gupta Empire engaged in war against the Greeks and exiled them all out of India. This was sharply contrasting to Mauryans who invited Greek scholars in their court.

Lastly, it quite literally stops all movement within the caste system saying that birth is the ONLY indicator of quality.

If I could change ONE thing in Indian history, it would be going back to 200 BCE and finding the guy writing this shit and shoot him in his head.

sacred-texts.com/hin/manu.htm

ancien tindia was literally ancient greece tier with degeneracy Manu stopped all of that but he went too far

Manu was literally a Hindu Mohammed.

>Instead, the text calls women inferior and emotionally challenged and instructs men to keep them in their houses. The Manusmriti is the reason for forced marriages.
Good change
Much better than the power system women had before.
You can see what happens if women hold power by looking at the west
But Everything else in it seems bad for society

Sounds like Zig Forums wrote it.

what is meant by "the condition of Sudras"?

archive.org/details/ManuSmriti_201601/page/n223/mode/2up

Yea all these changes sounded very islamic and more similar to modern indian systems lmao.
So do all the sexual stuff from India like Kamasutra come before ?

>You can see what happens if women hold power by looking at the west
Based and redpilled my fellow zoomer!

It fucked up our social fabric forever and since we were denied pasage into the modern era normally the shit flingers in rural areas still unironically think of women as chattel property.

Sudra is just a way to say non-Aryan caste. Basically Sudras were either kicked out of the kingdom or were forced to do labour/slave work

Wasn't Manu the equivalent of Noah?

Kamasutra is older. Around 300 BCE. During the Mauryan Empire.

Manu is a title. It referred to multiple people throughout history. In this case, it refers to a Brahmin priest whose real name was Svayambhuva.

Based. If I was king I would declare than only people of my kingdom whom I like have souls, rest are just talking animal created by demons to mislead us, so it is okay to eslave, rape torture even eat them. In fact I would make it an imperative to do so. Alos I woudl declare than noblemen gáre directly connected to the divine and thus any act they perform is inherently virtuous and they should be praised for it, no matter how foul it may seem.

So do all the stone sculptures of orgies and beastiality come before this text

But the thing which forces you to think is that India had its golden age under the Gupta Empire with the laws of Manu. Most of the scientific and mathematical contributions of Ancient India comes from this time.

thanks for clearing all that up, it is an interesting subject

that’s exactly what happened. Next thing you know years of nepotism has lead to incompetence and suddenly Muslims come on your door knocking. The first invasions by Arabs are handled by North Western Indians who you exiled but they can only fight Muslims for only a few centuries. Muslims then promote one of the people you considered subhuman as their commander and he goes full beserk and conquers all of India subdueing armies.

The real story of Malik Kaffir.

chamar cope 2bh

He also defeated the Mongols. A Hindu untouchable who became Muslim stopping the Mongol invasion sounds like the ultimate political crossover.

Go back to Indiachan.

This universe rewards being a dick, what a suprise!

Stupid chamar doing we wuz or could have here, what's fucking new in that huh?

But I woudl be long dead by then, why would I give shit. I woudl just make these laws to have an excuse to indulge my sadistic urges

bruh he’s right Malik kafur was a low caste slave before he converted to Islam and became khilji’s commander. Khilji didn’t conquer much, it was all Kafur doing it on his behalf. Including defeating the Mongols when they were at their peak.

>Girls are supposed to be in the custody of their father when they are children, women must be under the custody of their husband when married and under the custody of her son as widows. In no circumstances is she allowed to assert herself independently.
>her pleasure [after the death of her husband], let her emaciate her body by living only on pure flowers, roots of vegetables and fruits. She must not even mention the name of any other men after her husband has died.
>Any women violating duty and code of conduct towards her husband, is disgraced and becomes a patient of leprosy. After death, she enters womb of Jackal.
>In case women enjoy sex with a man from a higher caste, the act is not punishable. But on the contrary, if women enjoy sex with lower caste men, she is to be punished and kept in isolation.
> In case a woman tears the membrane [hymen] of her Vagina, she shall instantly have her head shaved or two fingers cut off and made to ride on Donkey.
> In case a women, proud of the greatness of her excellence or her relatives, violates her duty towards her husband, the King shall arrange to have her thrown before dogs at a public place.
Bruh some of this makes isalm look moderate

> Kafur doing it on his behalf.
So? One fucking example, one? The whole dynasties of india that built the culture and defeated muslims were not chamars, what about them? Even if he did was given equal treatment despite his caste, there is negligible chance of him rising to prominence under all the aristocracy

> Including defeating the Mongols when they were at their peak
mogols never put much focus on india, ever. If they really wanted, they would have fucking decimated india. India was just lucky at the time just like with alexander

This is we wuz by a chamar at best
